Mary's Place

Ok, so I'm going to try to be thorough as always, because I know how much I appreciate a detailed review when I'm using RV Parky to find a place. The park is beautiful. Green all over. Huge tress. Mountains surround the park. Tables at each site. Some sites have fire rings. This park does not allow access to the river, even in the back in sites along the river. There is a fence and entry to the river is not permitted from the park. But the sound of the river is ever present and soothing for a relaxing afternoon. The sites are cramped. I can see how this park would be less inviting when full and during season, as you will be on top of your neighbor. But you can't beat the location. A quick 5 minute walk across the suspension bridge and you are at the hot springs and in the downtown area. You can also hike the mountain right behind the park, which is an amazing climb and viewpoint if you're up to it. We came in late August during the week. The park was near empty and it was a beautiful stay. The sites split power between sites, so the water is on the wrong side of some of the sites. I can also see where this might cause water pressure issues if you were sharing with your neighbor. It's one spigot with a splitter. The bathrooms are outdated and small, but only an issue if you don't have a usable bathroom in your rig. Again, if this place was busy I can see where that would be an issue. I really enjoyed my stay and the hosts of the camp were super cool. Marie and Kevin do a great job. Tell them the Butler's said hello!✌️

Ps. There is a train that comes through randomly, but every place in this valley has the tracks run right by, so it's just part of the nostalgia of this place.

Stayed one night. Spaces are cramped. Place was a ZOO! Never again.

Very clean, quiet lots of trees and green space. Bathrooms need a little update but clean 

Made reservations, paid for 2 nights at time of booking ....due to scheduling on our cross country trip We needed to  change/cancel 2 weeks in advance and was told I missed the cancellation date by "1 day" ????? Charged one night plus cancellation fee !!!  Hmmmmmm ????  We ended up staying at the KOA which I Highly recommend!!!
