La Veta Pines RV Park

Small well kept campground with shade at some part of the day. Pull thru spaces very nice.  Owner was superb giving a wonderful camp experience. Only wish I could have stayed a month or so to explore the area. There is so much experience. AS you drive on Rt 12 you will have the words of "The hills are alive" dancing through your mind. Very enjoyable memories to be had and the quiet cool nights to enjoy. 

Quiet night. The park is right in town so every thing is in walking distance. Proprietor is helpful and friendly. I will definitely return.

Wonderful spot in a beautiful area of Colorado.  Greg was so helpful getting into the space and in recommending places to eat and see.  Also saw a moving in the outdoor 'theater.' Only Stayed one night but will definitely be back.

Stayed Friday to Sunday.  First trip of the year.  Hosts greeted us and helped guide us in.  Had a great site.  Was about half full.  Nice big trees and level sites.  An in town experience to quite a bit to walk to check out.  Rained all day Saturday but there were 100s of dvds available    Hosts were the owners and were really nice.  I would return.  

We stayed 1 night wish we had more time but we will be back. Host was so nice showed us where to pull in and best way out. So kind and friendly! Definitely a great place to stay!

Very clean and quiet Campground. Set up was easy with good spacing between. Small downtown area that has a meat market, groceries and an icecream bar.

Great place. Just on the edge of a sweet little town. Owners were fabulous and very welcoming. Very clean spacing was great. We will be returning. Make sure to explore highway 12 while you are there. 

We needed a place between the Great Sand Dunes and Colorado Springs and this place hit the mark. Greg and Lisa are new owners and they are taking every effort to make it clean, welcoming and peaceful. Green grass and flower boxes between each campsite!  The office/ store has lots of goodies including beautiful yarn if you are a knitter.  If you are in that part of the country and need a place... check them out. 

We stayed here just overnight , not too far out of our way. Sweet little campground, close to downtown. Downtown was all closed up as we arrived on Sunday night. The town Deer wandered thru the site and about town. So fun to see them. The place was clean and the host was very nice. 

Wonderful little intimate Park. Great people. Quaint little town just a fun place. We were lookingfor a place to spend the night when my wife found a little part called I Love Lucy RV Park. With a name like that we just had to check it out. About 15 miles off the expressway we planned on just spending the night ended up spending three nights and would have spent more but we had an appointment we had to make in Denver.

Not fancy but clean and quiet.  Shelia made us feel welcome right away.....everything was neat and clean.  WiFi worked just fine for us, cell phone service was good, too.  I don’t there’s any cable tv, but we’re ok with that.
The town is clean and very quaint.....it was worth leaving the main highway to visit LaVeda.  It’s beautiful scenery here.

Residential area, really cramped spaces but clean place and nice helpful host (new owners). 5 minute walk to downtown.

Very small park and sites are pretty close but not bad. New owner was very sweet, helpful in letting you know what sites to see, she even prepared biscuits and gravy for Father's Day! Entertainment was a gentleman sitting on a small stage singing a few old country songs and changing the lyrics around.  Really enjoyed our stay! Town was within walking distance and very quaint!  The mountains were so close you could almost touch them, breathtaking! Would stay again!
