Lonoke Walmart Supercenter

Our first time ever at a Walmart, boondocking. It was so noisy,  no sleep at all, my husband managed to go to sleep,or I would have said let's LEAVE.

Great for camp trailer or small RV, but they have 12’ height restriction bars up at every entrance.

Well lit lot. Manager was nice and had no problem with us staying there. Nice big grass lot to run our dogs. A lot of semi’s park on one side of the lot so we parked on the interstate side. Is a little noisy, but with the generator it didn’t matter.

Overnight parking  allowed if you can get under the 12' bar across entance. Nice store, some fairly level places and not much noise. 

We could not get in the driveway because we are 13’6”

When I asked for permission, the evening manager said they didn't permit it. Went on to West Memphis and they allowed me to stay there and were very friendly. 

The reviews say overnight parking but this Walmart definitely does not want any big rigs to park.  12' clearance bars are at every entrance.  It was probably higher, but we didn't want to chance it.  The Doublebee's convenience store is close and the manager was very nice and allowed parking.  There were a few trucks also.  Easy stop. It was noisy and such, but we got a good night's rest.

12’ headache bars just low enough to hit our a/c unit. Had to unhook our towed car to make the turn through the loading dock to get back onto the road to leave.

Has 12’ arch to get into parking lot. I think they are much higher.  2002 Winnebago Adventurer pulling toad fit just fine.  Nice level spot.  Be warned you are very close to Interstate and lots of noise. Went to service desk and asked.  They said if you can get in lot you can stay.  Many signs warning ⛔️ no trucks.  Store and employees very nice.  I would for sure stay here again.  

What the heck is this about?   Overhead bars at 12’ don’t allow trucks or big rigs.  Huge disappointment here.  We needed to make a stop for supplies and couldn’t even get our rig in the lot.  

If you are under 12' tall you are allowed to park over night. 

Only RVs less than 12 feet 0 inches high can fit under barricade across all Walmart entrances. We are 13 ft so we pulled along side 3 trucks parked next to the loading dock.  That area has lots of grass next to it to let dogs out to pee.  RVs under 12 feet had lots of room to park and open slides.  Signs just say NO parking for trucks.

Do not attempt if your rig is over 12’0”!! Can’t get into the parking lot! Don’t even bother to exit…we were going to grab some supplies, but won’t bother to spend our money there!!

I couldn't read the height clearance on the pictures posted. The rail is 12'0". 

Our travel trailer made it in fine and there were two rvs parked as well. 

Respectable looking area and store for a night stop. 

The have height barriers that prevent RV taller than 12 feet from staying. Do not go there, hard to turn around if you cannot get into the lot

Just avoid this Walmart there's 12 foot barriers at all entrances.
I wanted to pull in with a 34 foot motorhome and toad just to eat lunch off Interstate 
I'm 12 feet 4 inches tall and luckily could get between the big trucks unloading to escape this trap 

This might be RV friendly but it's NOT BIG RIG friendly. They have now installed 12 foot tall crash bars at all entrances.   It you get there, ther is also nowhere to turn around on or off property if you are towing.  BEWARE!

I am thankful to walmart for letting us stay here and getting rid of the trucks, BUT this parking lot is right next to one of the busiest truck interstates I have ever been on.  Maybe it would have been better on the other side of the parking lot, but its not a Super Walmart and the lot's not that big. 
AND IT'S A DRY COUNTY, so no evening glass of wine. 

Great overnight stay—-could not get level parking on curb in front of garden center so parked straight across from the front of the store near the garden center side. Able to open slides and run generator great night sleep

Bars are over parking lot entrances stating 12 ft hight limit. Big rigs can't get in now.

Tried to stop for a few hours sleep. They’ve added posts that only have a 12’ clearance, so my 13’ tall rig wouldn’t fit. There were a number of RVs in the parking lot, though. 

I stayed there last December. Security was making the Truckers leave but Campers were allowed. I was told that there has been a lot of damage by Truckers (tearing up grassy areas and wrecking cart corals). I was also told they were going to install a headache bar that may prohibit taller RVs. 

Absolutely no problem for motor homes or campers staying here.  The signs specifically say no trucks and there is a security company at the parking lot.  We went inside to ask and they said it was fine.  We also went to the security companies vehicle and spoke with them.  They are only patrolling for trucks, not boondock campers.

When we pulled in mid afternoon, security was onsite kicking truckers out of the parking lot, but had no trouble with us.  They did not ask us to leave and we did not ask to stay.  Figured if security wanted us out they would have let us know when they saw us pull in.  It was an uneventful night and we were joined by two other RV overnighters.

I called ahead and was told "we're supposed to tell you no overnighting.  A couple of hours only. To shop." When I said "really?  Oh, I'm sorry, a travel app indicated that it was okay to get some sleep, you know...not to actually camp."  And then that same person conspiratorially added "...no one will go out there and run you off..."  

It was strange that there were signs all over the parking lot that said, " Absolutely no trucks in this parking lot," but it was crowded with trucks.  Other than lots of trucks, it was fine staying there.

We called and they said we could park in the lot overnight. But when we arrived there were signs prohibiting parking in all areas of the lot. There were also so many big rigs already parked for the night in the lot we had no where to park if we could have!

Lots of trucks but it was quiet.

Stopped on our way to Texas.  There are spots for RV's and semis.   Does fill up so get there early.  Nice place to stop for the night. Thank you Walmart!

A good boondocking spot for overnight, but better get there early, lots of truckers...

Picked this based on previous reviews here and it was exactly as expected.  Lots of trucks and a couple other RVs.  Arrived about 10 pm, picked a spot, went in the store for a few necessities (hours are 6 am to 12 am apparently).  Since we were running generator and AC the noise wasn't too bad (except for when a backup horn went off nearby).  More trucks had surrounded us by the time we woke up and left around 5 am, but it was no problem getting out.  Served the purpose.

Lots and lots of trucks.  Maybe 50 at 8 pm when we got there.  Found a good spot and spent the night.  The trucks thinned out but there were still a lot of trucks all night.

First Walmart we have seen that has designated Trucker parking on the parking lot. We stayed n our 45' Class A w tow on the edge of the lot. Many trucks come & go. Store closes at 11pm & the parking lot continues to fill. Easy to navigate because there are no annoying curbed planters in the parking lot!! Lights & video cameras are present. Walk to 3-4 fast food restaurants.
Travelers: please don't leave any trash & return shopping carts to the kiosks on the lot. Can't beat the camping price (free), so let's keep Walmart happy with us!!

We pulled in after driving from myrtle beach. It was crowded with truckers but overall, not a bad stop and was able to get some sleep. We had to make our own spot but no one said a word. 

We stopped at about 10 pm. Probably the best Walmart I've seen as far as accommodation for overnight parking. They had a bunch of marked spaces. Problem was that every space was full and then some. Only a couple campers, but probably 60 trucks. Had to hit the highway as there was zero room for us to park.

Lost of trucks pull in, a few RV too. Hwy noise, we parked opposite end to hwy and wasn’t so bad. More noise from the trucks than the Hwy.  however still rate this good.

Pulled in around 8pm Sunday evening, 6 other RV's and 20+ big rigs. Lot even has designated area for 18 wheelers. Trucks come and go through the night as expected.
Lot is right next to I40 so fairly noisy through the night.
Store is small but fine. Store closed at midnight so basically no cars through the night which was nice.
Dry County so no vine or beer at store.

After trying to stop at several rest areas we found this Walmart that we were able to park in and get some sleep for a few hours.  Walmart isn’t open 24hrs but on Thanksgiving Day they were open at 6am and we were able to use the restroom and purchase a few goods that we needed.

Trucks came in at all hours of the night/morning. Still, a place to park. 

Stopped due to very high winds while driving, ended up staying overnight in parking lot. Seemed to be safe, we had no issues. Lots of trucks and other RVs 

There was about 15 semi-trucks and a couple motorhomes. Some of the trucks left their engines running all night. Trucks also came and went during the night.
We found the store neat and clean and the employees friendly while we were shopping. 

Signs everywhere say NO overnight truck parking, but I counted 23 trucks in here last night.
Small Wal-Mart and not open 24 hrs. RV parking overnight is OK.

We pulled into this lot around 7:30 last night and saw two trucks and one camper. When we woke up this morning there had to be 10 trucks parked all around us and I suspect three of those left their engines on all night.  This is not a Walmart Supercenter so the lot is not very big.  I would only use this for overnight parking if desperate.

Does no good to have this on here if overnight parking is not allowed.
