Lazy Days Campground

The only reason we stayed was it is the only open park in late October. These people are idiots, screaming cussing and the park is a dump. I watched rodents in the trash around and debris everywhere in the park. Stay away there has to be a better place in the area. 

I had a guy chase me driving across 3 sites, screaming cussing dropping F bombs. He says I was driving too fast and this is the reaction. He was out of control, I have no problem being asked to slow down, but this guy was an idiot. I witness they same thing with another customer about a 1/2 a football filed away the same screaming and yelling.Scared my wife, I called the sheriff to report the incident. We left the next mourning. do yourself a favor stay away from this run down junky park

I won't disagree that there are a lot of full timers, but I still like to stay here when I want to visit the surrounding area.   They have a few full hookup sites available to 'weekenders' which I like.  The staff has always been very friendly.  Only had 1 run in with the 'sheriff' about driving too fast in the campground (we weren't, but he's the law.).  I enjoy visiting Camping World and Port Washington when we stay here.  I really enjoyed visiting Shalom Wildlife Zoo nearby and plan to visit again.  They have what looks to be a nice lake, but we have not been able to enjoy it yet.  I would give this place a chance; especially to enjoy the surrounding areas. 

Old and not kept up. Lots of full timers not receptive to campers that pass threw.

Very hard to get to and very old. No way was this worth $38!!! Lots of full timers here. Don’t bother!!
