“Ok but do your homework”
We stay at KOA’s almost exclusively (40 ft fifth wheel) and read tons of reviews on campgrounds in the LBL area, finally chose this one. Sites are short and narrow and on terraces. We had B-1 and, short of the “A” section, there wouldn’t have been many we would fit in. Large stones make the sites hard to walk on but there is grass in the A section. Very nice staff, good facilities and hookups but I would call to reserve a site rather than online and ask a lot of questions. They have few 50 amp sites (most are 30), parking your tow vehicle can be a problem but the staff does work hard to make everyone happy. Convenient to LBL, restaurants and gas; grocery stores are farther away in Paducah (20 minutes). I would stay again if I could guarantee my spot as suggested here. L

“Great stay”
Great overnight stop. Be sure to stay on the upper level, as the sites below have quite a slop to them. Staff was very pleasant. Restrooms are being updated.

We were at this park in 2014, and it was in a sad state. Tried again. New owners have done a lot of improvements and were gracious hosts. But, unless you are in the “A” spots, nothing is level. We were in D row, in a 30’ TT and couldn’t get level for anything. Large gravel and the slopes made walking difficult for us seniors. Paid for 2 nights, stayed, but wouldn’t return.

“Not really Big rig friendly”
We tried to stay here 4/14/23… could not find a level enough spot for our 42 foot rig. We tried for about an hour to get something to work, but no dice. They were great about refunding the stay and we went on down the road.

“Love sunrise there”
I was hoping for a nice quite two day stop and was not disappointed. There are some sites uneven and prove to be a little of a challenge to set up. Rigs above 40’ can be tight in and out, but I seen them get in and out just fine. I enjoyed the hilly walk in the camp along with the shaded trees. The hosts were just great to welcome you and made it just a great stay. I woke up early only to see the sunrise and what a beautiful site it was. This was the first place I took pictures of just the land scape within the camp. This will be a must stop for us in the future.

“Lovely little spot”
The hosts were very sweet and helpful, it is a smaller KOA and the spots are a bit smaller, but we are pulling a 42’ toy hauler. We were able to fit and pull out ok.

“Hidden gem”
Park is a quiet but well kept spot. Staff are friendly and helpful if needed. Sites are all gravel, but spaced out with plenty of privacy. Some of the pull through sites are hillside but laid out well. Will definitely stay here again on our way through.

“Uneven tight spaces”
On the plus side: lady checking in was hospitable; woodsy setting; cable and wifi were both strong. Negatives: very hilly, rendering our narrow pull thru spot uneven to such an extent that we had to unhook to level front to back for our one night stay; site next to us was occupied by a full timer staff, and they had erected a shade structure next to their permanently opened awning, leaving just a few inches between our extended slide and their shade, which was then our view from our dining table. Maybe we got the worst spot, but we would look elsewhere before returning here if passing thru this area of KY again.

“The best.”
We are from Nova Scotia Canada. Today is June 18th and we have traveled from me down through the states through Tennessee and come back up into Kentucky and stayed at a lot of campsites mostly KOA. I have to say without a dote this is the best campsite that we have been in. The owner is totally amazing with Southern Hospitality. The campsites are big and very spacious. The Landscapes around the campsites are amazing with flowers and Greenery in each site. The pool I have to say is the warmest water we've been in yet. Anyone that wants to come to this KOA in Kentucky I highly recommended. We could stay here for months.

“Super friendly”
This is the smallest KOA we have visited , but still with a nice pool and a small fish pond. Owners are super friendly and helpful; I watched from our coach as the owner was out with a flash light in a light rain at 9:40pm helping s big rig pulling in for the nigh. I wish I could give them more stars, but the bathrooms were in serious need of updating and better cleaning.

“Amazing ”
The owners of this KOA are some of the nicest people we've met on our journeys. They are so friendly and treat everyone like lifelong friends. The campground is quiet and clean and just all around beautiful. There was a bronze trophy in the general store that was given to the owners for 40 years of service for KOA. That was given to them 3 years ago. These wonderful people have been doing this for a super long time and you can tell they still love it. That's impressive.

“Not big rig friendly ”
It stated that the site we was going to get was big rig friendly but was not it will be the last time we come here it would be a great campground if you are 35 or shorter. The entrance is like a driveway and if someone else is coming the other way there is no room for two cars .

“Peaceful and wooded”
Nice quiet wooded campground. The entrance looks like a driveway to a home but there is a KOA mailbox. We camped here two nights so we could go into Paducah to see the National Quilt Museum. There isn't much in the store if you need supplies. Most people seem to use this KOA just for overnights. Motorhome next to us has his front tires off the ground when he leveled. All our wheels stayed on the ground. We did need a small step to help the dog get in and out. This campground has the rolling hills Kentucky is known for. If you aren't in a pull through you will need to bring some wood to level. We traveled here in a 40' motorhome. We would definitely come here again. Rated a 4 for being a quiet campground with ease of entry and exit.
