John F. Kennedy Memorial Park

Beautiful park setting, between a lake and a golf course.  Sites are level,not too close together, clean restrooms and showers. We found the camp hosts very helpful and kind. 
There is a veterans memorial across the lake that is so beautiful that you must go see.  I found it so personal and moving, it is the the nicest memorial I have seen in our travels.

This is a stunning park with quite a list of activities and resources. Unfortunately, the RV park isn’t its best feature. The sites are a mix of back-in and pull-through; some have water and electric but the water sites go fast; none of the sites have sewer but there is a dump station (plan ahead, the wait can become quite long); some sites are quite spacious, some are very tight; the entire campground slopes down toward the entrance but the sites are reasonably level; some are well-shaded, some are full,sun. I’m sure you’re getting the picture — the quality of your stay will be impacted by the site you’re able to snag. There are no reservations at this park. Cell service with Verizon is mediocre but the free WiFi is really helpful (it’s definitely impacted by the usual peak-time traffic).

Great clean park. I think it may have seen renovation since the earlier reviews were done. The sites are level gravel. Some tent sites have pads. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring with grates for cooking. Plenty of shade. Great Wifi. Sites are spacious but not huge. Roads are freshly paved. Big rigs are easily maneuvered. I'm 65 feet long. Registration is done at the campground with envelopes, cash and a drop box. Cards are not accepted. We stayed in late September so the park wasn't full. Bathrooms were new and clean. Very enjoyable. 

This county park is not big rig acceptable. You may be able to get some 5th wheels in here but big R vs stay away
