“Great family campground ”
Just got back from our first time here. In all we had a great time. Lots of activities for kids with mini golf/ water rentals/ playgrounds and courts for volleyball and basketball. The swimming pond was a little cold yet for late May but the kids still had fun. Indoor pool was obviously less crowded but the outdoor pool is an absolute s#!t show until 4 or 5pm. It was like an MTV Spring Break but with middle-aged campers. We met alot of good people and everyone from staff to fellow campers were great. 2 nice dog parks that tired our dog out which was nice. Now here's the one problem I had. They pack you in like sardines. I cannot stand camping on top of each other and they leave no spot wasted. After we got our 24 foot trailer in we had little to no room. Fortunately we had great neighbors but this could be an issue if you end up next to people you just don't get along with. I would definitely go back if we had a group to book a few sites so that you wouldn't have to worry about intruding on your neighbors space. Overall great place for kids and families

“Clean”
Spotless clean. Reasonably priced. Great kayaking. Take your fishing gear. Millions of kids here playing outside. Only one barking dog.

“One of the family favorites”
I have been coming here since I was a toddler and now take my own family. Try to go yearly. This campgrounds is model campground how to manage a private camp resort with clean amenities and attention to details. It's well staffed and one of the safest places I have been to. Great for kids, lots of swimming, fishing, canoeing, biking, hiking, etc available. One great touch is the dog park where your four legged kids can go and let off some steam. Overall just a great experience. I have zero complaints.

“Nice little campground on a small lake. ”
We spent Wednesday and Thursday nights at the campground. Was not crowded at all. People started coming in on Friday. It has a private lake that was very shallow by our camper. The fishing wasn't very good. They have a swimming lake with blow up toys for the kids to play on. We had a spot right on the water. Hosts and staff were friendly. We took the kayak trip on the Fox River. Three mile trip took 1 1/2 hours. The paddle across swan lake at the end was the best part. We only ate at the restaurant on the day we left. Food is pricey. Only a few items come with fries. So, expect to pay around $8-$9 for each meal. I had the two piece fish meal. It came with the salad bar but the pieces of fish were more like two small fish sticks. Very skinny. We bought firewood from the camp store. It was hard to get lit, and when we did, it was hard to keep it burning. The wood seemed to be dry, though. But for the price we paid to stay during the week, I think we got our money's worth. We also got groceries at the Piggy Wiggly in Pardeeville. Was not very affordable. $100 doesn't go very far there.
