Hot Springs National Park KOA

Cabin was perfect for family of 5.  I was worried about it getting too cold but the heaters worked well and the cabin was very insulated.  Basic kitchen utensils, linens, Microwave and small frig. were supplied. Bigger or smaller cabins are available. Price was cheaper than a hotel.  
We were pleased with the Rv spot for our class A MH. Sites were gravel and level, fire ring, picnic table, cable worked well, clean bath and laundry facilities.  Big Pool and small miniature golf closed for the season.  Very close to bath row for easy drive in.  
The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 was the entrance.   As other reviews stated, a steep grade entering with pavement scars from others hitches  scraping and the “office entrance”is not well marked. Use the second entrance going up the hill to the KOA Holiday sign.  Do not go past the KOA Holiday sign or you will have heck finding a turn around.  We know!
The manager was super accommodating. 

We stayed here for one night on our journey home.  Office staff was very nice, and welcoming.  This is a terraced, hillside RV park and it worked.  Our pull through site had plenty of room with easy entry/exit.  There were several bathroom/showers around the park.  Will definitely return when we can stay longer. 

Overall, great stay. Site spacing is usual/expected, for a KOA: pretty close. Utilities were strong despite being hot and humid, and everyone running their ACs. The patio space was small but adequate. Well-stocked camp store. Laundry was pretty nice, we did one load. Breakfast (small fee) is offered on-site. It was OK, but a unique feature. Entry to the park from the road can be a little hairy...quite a transition...it's clear several people have scraped the ground, but our long and low camper was fine with watching what's going on in your mirrors.

Definitely recommend. Excellent staff, clean and professionally run, $5 shuttle to np. Laundry and nice pool. Site was good size.  

Only about 3miles from Hot Spring.The level sites in this hilly setting, amazing. Clean individual toilets snd showers, nice pool that needs a paint job. Updated individual bathrooms although I don’t think anyone cleaned them this weekend.

We had a great spot to watch the eclipse.  This is a smaller KOA with lovely owners.  The shuttle to downtown was well worth the 5 bucks so we didn't have to drive in all that traffic.   Will stay here again for sure.  I couldn't give it 5 stars because the internet was on the weak side.  

We found the park charming, mostly because of the people. There is a shuttle ($5.00 round trip per person) taking you to downtown Hot Springs. Lovely walks down Bathhouse Row, Superior Bathhouse Brewery,  and most beautiful of all was Garven Woodland Gardens. 

Stayed here 2 nights in pull through site with travel trailer. Very nice layout with lots of shade. Very clean and office folks were  friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice resort like KOA

Staff was most friendly and escorted us to our site. The site was a back in, nestled (so shaded) in the trees and level. Very close to the town of Hot Springs. Downside…narrow site, picnic table needs replaced and the gravel made walking tough for the small dog. 

Arrived 4/21 - 4/25. We found the place charming, mostly because of the people. There is a shuttle ($5.00 round trip per person) taking you to downtown Hot Springs. Lovely walks down Bathhouse Row, Superior Bathhouse Brewery was very dog friendly & we’re glad we stayed an extra day. Liked it so much, we joined KOA. 

This beautiful KOA has terraced sites and lots of trees. My 35’ motorhome and 18’ flat car trailer fit on my pull through site with plenty of room to park my jeep and hang out at the picnic table. They cook breakfast on the weekends, which was a great convenience. There was some highway noise from Highway 70, but it stopped after midnight. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the shuttle driver even took me into town last minute on Friday at the end of their scheduled day. I was able to Uber back easily after dinner and enjoyed being able to see downtown Hot Springs without having to unload my jeep. Their cable worked fine and I was able to receive some OTA Tv channels. I didn’t try to use my Satellite, due to the trees. I would stay here again. 

Easily the best KOA we have ever stayed at! We bothered the office staff relentlessly with questions about area attractions, park amenities and general info about the area. They were always more than happy to stop and answer questions, offer suggestions or help out where needed. Special shout out to Brian, who went above and beyond to make our family trip memorable!

Excellent overnight stay

We stayed here while visiting Hot Springs National Park. It was a bit tight and has some tricky turns but all the big rigs seemed to manage fine. We have a 30ft TT and it was pretty easy to park. The staff was really nice, the grounds were clean and pretty, store well stocked, a cheap breakfast place onsite for the weekends, shuttle to the park (but easy to drive too as well), very cute park for kids and we loved the enclosed dog park. Also, reasonable washer and dryers that worked great and open 24/7

People were friendly, convenient to down town, shuttle service

The park was immaculate and the staff super friendly!  Beautiful wooded setting. They have a shuttle into town and the National park.  Don’t take the “fastest route”, go the long way for the easiest in. Off 30-440-40 is best. They do pack them in here and there’s some pretty tight turns coming in and out. All in all lovely!

This park is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They checked us in quickly and David showed us to our site and asked if we needed anything.  Always our go to spot in Hot Springs. Close to down town. It is always clean as a whistle! And quiet. Sites are gravel and roads are asphalt.

This was a suitable KOA for our overnight. Lots were flat, built into a hill so it felt somewhat private surrounded by trees. Small dog park and playground within walking distance. 

Stayed here in a 35' 5th wheel. Just like most KOA's this one had lots of amenities including some ponds, cabins, play area etc. I was in the site called "Garden" near the pond at the entrance of the park. It was long, but due to the slope in the front and back, it required me to park the RV right in the middle which didn't leave much room for my truck. The space was a little off level so I had to run up on a board on one side. I did enjoy being close to the pond to watch the water fowl and the shade was appreciated. The water pressure was also low. The bathhouse was just ok with a very small spot to put your things on. Wifi was good. Cable had lots of options. 2 washers in one laundry room - $1.50 for wash, 0.75 for 30 minutes of dry time. The staff was very helpful in getting people in their sites. I watched them help several really big rigs get into some narrow spaces. They were skilled in directing drivers. They will also come pick up a propane tank, fill it and return it to your rig. That was very helpful.

Stayed 3 nights in back in site (A6) with 35 ft TT.  Terraced sites on hill but are level and very spacious. Site was shadey and all gravel (no grass). Used firepit every night.  K9 area was large with grass. Did not use facilities. Staff was nice and super helpful. Really enjoyed this park and would definitely return if in this area again.  FHU. Wifi and cable. Only downside was some road noise, but not a deal breaker.

Stayed here 3 nights while we explored Hot Springs.  Called several campgrounds and they were full so we were grateful to get a spot here.  Arrived a little after 3 in the rain and they escorted us through tight roads to our spot and our 36’ rv barely fit in the short pull through lot.  The water pressure was so bad my husband went up to the office to see if there was something wrong.  They said there was nothing wrong, however, We had trouble showering in our unit and flushing the toilet from the lack of water. My husband chose to use the campground showers and said they were clean.  The only other problem was their lack of control over other campers who were not following their rules.  Dogs were allowed “on leash only” but a unit across from us had 3 dogs that were never on a leash the whole time we were there which included a large German shepherd.  I was concerned every time we took our dog out on a leash.  They also had young kids wizzing around on a 4 wheeler that you had to really watch for.  

We spent the night at our very first KOA campground in Hot Springs, AR.  Very clean with beautiful views of the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains.  Very attentive staff in the office and the first time someone brings us to our site and makes sure everything is okay. Lola enjoyed being off leash in their dog park!

Enjoyed our stay here a lot. Our site was not that level, but we made it work. Close to hot springs which we enjoyed exploring. Park was quiet and had a few trails though it that were kind of neat. 

Entire campground on slopes but all sites level with FHU.  Good WiFi.  Serve full breakfast Fri-Sun for reasonable cost. Rest rooms & bath very clean. Nice to rest for couple nights before continuing forward.

Great location and very nice spaces with all hookups!  Office and park staff very friendly and most helpful and easy to talk with! Fun people!!  Showers are super clean and laundry room well equipped. Located on a sloping rise but all sites very level.  Will return here on next visit!!! Thank you guys for making stay here most enjoyable.   Easy in to town for all events and attractions 

Ok place.  Site we were put in was really too short for our 29' fifth wheel.  First time we were remin  Sites are tiered so there is good privacy between sites.ded that we had 15 minutes to leave the site.  Good facilities, but the customer service left a little to be desired.

Only a one night stop over. Park was clean and staff was friendly. 

So we were looking for a place to park our RV that was close to the national park without being too crowded. We found it. The staff here is so nice. The owner, Lynn and her family, are so kind and really care about everyone here. The 2 camp hosts we met, John and Angela, were so fun and helpful. They were so sweet to our dog and even offered him treats when we visited the office. So our dog loved them big time. It really took no time at all to feel like you were staying with old friends. We were here for 5 nights and will be coming back here for sure.

I don't know if I would have changed anything about our stay. We didn't need a tow car here as they had a shuttle that took us to the park and back for just $5 each and the bathrooms and showers were beautiful and very clean. Their wifi was faster than our hotspot while we were there and that was a welcomed surprise. There was also nice woods around us which made watching the animals and birds fun while hanging outside.

Great pull through, level with nice picnic table and fire ring/ grill. Nice area to walk around . Good dog park. We loved our stay here.

We stayed her for three nights hunkering down during a very stormy patch. This is a very well-kempt campground, with a duck pond, little streams and waterfalls, and clever stepped campsites since it's on a fairly steep slope. The sites are pretty level, the staff is friendly, and if it weren't so far from our California home I would love to visit in the spring or summer when the trees  are in leaf.

We stayed in a travel trailer for two nights.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  There was a cute duck pond and fishing in the middle of campground.  The kids play area was very minimal and a little disappointing.  The bathrooms were great and had heaters and nice hot showers.  Close to activities in town.
