Greensport RV Park & Campground

We stayed in the area that was recently completed in the woods. The sites were roomy, the petting zoo a plus, including the donkey that free-ranges during the day. When we try out a park for the first time, three days is our max. I regret not booking for a full week. We will be back!  This park is a work in progress, that has been well thought out. 

Plenty of room between sites, no traffic or trains to wake you up only birds and squirrels. Lots of shade and a beautiful lake. Staff are super nice and attentive. I will return when passing through again 

We were looking for a spot to stop on our way to Red Bay. Luck would have us stay at this beautiful park in a waterfront pull through site that handled our big rig. Very friendly and helpful owners, who greeted us with a thank you note, treats for our pups, and cookies! Loved their general store (they don’t sell pacifiers but that’s about it). We bird watched, had good OTA tv channels and weathered a pretty fierce line of storms with threat of tornadoes. Husband was dying to fly fish but we had too much to do. Neighbors were very friendly and enjoyed the petting zoo. Bet this place is crazy busy in the summer! Highly recommend. We are 40’ class A towing a Wrangler.

We stayed few days in early November loved the park . Staff friendly and helpful, park clean . Just wish we could have stared longer

We love this rv park very clean beautiful grounds and great dog park . Management is very attentive.  Had activities that were fun. Definitely coming back would recommend for anyone.  40ft motorhome towing a jeep easy to get into and out of.

This is our second time at this park. First time was two years ago.  I’m a 40ft class A towing a jeep.  Absolutely no problems getting into this park with a big rig.  Plenty of room to maneuver. Owner is very friendly and they’re working to make more improvements to the campground.  Has a beautiful pool and is on the water too.  Wi-Fi works great and they have a nice playground and even rent golf carts.  Upon check in we were given camp info along with cookies!  When I opened the envelope back at rv we even had a beautiful hand written thank you for staying with us again note.  Who does that anymore?!  This is a great family run campground that they take pride in. 

As I looked for a nice RV Park in the area, I came across this review and started to skip Greensport RV Park. But something told me to look closer. One bitter person can ruin a new parks overall rating until it is countered with truth. I’m really enjoying this park and the owners are extremely professional and kind. The RV park is a newer establishment, but the land has been in the family for over 200 years! Beautiful location and scenery everywhere. I don’t get why the previous reviewer said they were concerned about driving in. There is 100% easy access for any rig of any size. Clear sailing all the way. 

I will review the Park again after our stay, but from what I’ve experienced so far, this is the best RV Park anywhere in the area. Excellent Hook Ups. Fast WiFi. Beautiful views in every direction. Super quiet. No Planes,Trains or Automobiles noise. Natural setting on a large, clean lake. Rural, not Urban. Friendly Host and neighbors. Big Dog Park. Nice pool, laundry and facilities. Do not hesitate to come here.

You will not get a refund if you change your mind. I drove the route in my car and decided, as a new RV driver, that it was too much for me. The owner would not agree to any type of refund. I booked through RV Parky and never saw that info. on her web-site.    NOT good business practice!!  What a rip off!!  I was charged full price and changes my mind within 12 hours-- not even a partial refund!!
