Great Salt Lake State Park

Looked like heaps of sites available on line, when we got there there was one full hook up site for $60 a night in winter. Mostly permanents and looked generally grubby. We did not stay

Don't know where to begin.  Needs TLC as a state park for sure. Access road to get into the park is atrocious.  Would not go back! Actually when we got there someone was in our site. No one monitoring the sites. Would not go back.

On the great salt lake.  Could use a little Maint.  

For a state park, not much here.  Lake is very low and smells and buggy.  Only 5 sites.  Roads coming in are both paved and unpaved.  But does the trick for a short stay.

Park is only 5 spaces. Our site (#5), was the only site with a sewer connection. Parking area was large volcanic rock that was great for drainage but not a smooth surface by any means. The Great Salt Lake was about 100 yards away. Unbelievable sunset can be seen from the lookout area.
Small gift shop loaded with history facts and gifts. Food and/or ice would have to be bought outside of the park. Stores located nearby.

This looked like a great spot from the pictures but once here it wasn't great.  The spots are  good with electric and water but the showers and bathrooms were disgusting.  Doesn't look like it has been cleaned in awhile.  The Lake was super low and bugs were horrible.  However it is pretty quiet.

Not much to it but the views are very nice. Only 5 spots but pretty close to the water. Only to be careful of is price. $35 but don't forget the $8 registration fee. Makes it a little pricey for what it is. 

Only four stars because it's just a parking lot with hook ups, but close to the water, friendly camp staff and 20mins to downtown. You have to have a gate code and pay for a shower card which is refundable when you return it. Didn't use the facilities so I'm not sure how clean etc. Other campers are close and you will need AC in summer so expect some noise. Very close to 80.

Super camping with only 5 sites. The view is wonderful. Become very quiet when the park close to visitor. The wind may be very intense sometimes so do not extend your porch roof. Our neibourg just got his broke last night. Would stay again.
