Grand Forks Walmart

Wind yesterday was so bad it blew one of my AC shrouds off the roof. Decided to see if this Walmart would be a good place to stop. It was! Called first and they said it was OK. Stayed on west side of lot. Level spot. Spent $200 in the store. One other rv and a semi overnighting.  I don't like some Walmarts but this one was just fine.

It's Walmart, easy access, fairly quiet. I did get the full moon hanging over the parking lot, though. Bonus ! But I mostly did this review for a current date.10/16/24.

We stayed here last night 7-27-24. Called ahead and were told to park on the far west side of the parking lot. There were 4 or 5 other motorhomes parked when we got here, plenty of room. Very quiet, most of us were running generators but it wasn’t loud at all. Well lit and peaceful.

Thanks, Walmart, for your hospitality!  Found a level spot and parked.  We purchased some grocery supplies.  There were 2 motorhomes along with a travel trailer near us as there is plenty of room in this parking lot.  It was quiet and we felt safe!  

Asked at customer service and were told we could stay overnight. We parked at the north west side of the parking lot. One other camper and a few trucks also parked. There was some road noise and we heard a few trains during the night. Had a good night sleep. Thanks to Walmart for letting us stay.

Talked to the manager and she said rv parking overnight was okay just not allowed to set up tents and only 1 night. Its on the edge of town so somewhat quite but still a little tucker noise but doesnt bother me. 

August 9 2022.  Perfect spot to stop for a night. We had read here that it wasnt allowed so I went in and asked.  No signs anywhere.  Customer service said the manager allows overnight parking out on the perimeter of the parking lot.  We got groceries and sat under a tree on the edge of the lot.  Perfect   

We called today 9/23/2020 and the person who answered the phone said there's no overnight parking and that there are signs out in the parking lot. We went to the other Walmart on 32 Ave., they do allow overnight parking there.

Nice very quiet place for the night. Easy in and out. Level 

The staff at Walmarts was great.  It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot.  A quiet place to sleep.
