Fossil Valley RV Park

Huge shade trees. Blake our host so friendly and accommodating. So many things to do here. Quiet neighbors. Level, easy access pull through spots. Only negative is road noise.  We think Vernal grew up around this gem. Highly recommend. 

This little RV park is tucked away in the middle of town and surprisingly a beautiful and convenient place. Laundry, showers and bathrooms are clean and accessible 24/7! Open all year and very accommodating! I’ll return!👍

Great park with plenty of shade trees and level sites. I wish all the parks we stayed in were as nice as this. Blake is wonderful host that is extremely knowledgeable of the area and can direct you to all the great things Vernal Utah has to offer. Planned on spending 2 days and stayed 5. 

This was a great place to stay to explore the sites around Vernal.  Being in town, there are several great place to eat and to get things.  Blake was one of the managers that told us about the area with suggestions on things to see and do.  The sites are well shaded, level and well maintained.  The park is smaller than most and the road noise is there, but the nights were quiet.  We would definitely stay there again.  

Great park and thank heavens for those shade trees, given the heat. Lots to do in the area.  Manager was very proactive in making sure that everything was taken care of.  Definitely be back. 

This is a great little RV park in the middle of Vernal. Best shade trees of any RV park we have been to! Our spot was very level and we got a strong WiFi connection with great speeds. 
Blake, the host, seemed to almost always be on site day and night was not only super friendly but also extremely helpful in pointing out all of the best local attractions and gave us some personalized maps with great directions and notes. 
The bathrooms were always clean. They do charge for showers. Laundry facilities are on-site however we didn't use them. 
I highly recommend Betty's Cafe for breakfast just down the road. 
The RV park alone was great but Blake made it even better. 

My wife and I called from Jackson, WY on our way to Vernal, UT on the labor day weekend.  Russel was good enough to keep a place for us even though we had poor phone quality and didn't make our stay times perfectly clear.  His son met us when we arrived and was very attentive and information.  We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Nice Park with a lot of shade. Owner went out of his way to help us get our big rig parked, and even trimmed a tree before we put our slides out. Shade gives nice respite from afternoon sun. Good location close to fast food, grocery, and Walmart. Good location for local attractions and Dinosaur Monument. We did not use facilities. Marginal VZW service, but good ATT service. 

We were going to stay 2 nights, but liked it so much we stayed a week. Nice and helpful owners, lots of shade trees and lots of area to walk the dogs.

Great in town park. Stayed 3 days. Blake the manager was great help to us. Will stay again if in the area. 

Absolutely shaded!! Beautiful big trees. Gravel spots all FHU. Wasn’t able to connect to the wifi but didn’t need to. Laundry area very clean, didn’t use showers but they are there. Stayed a week and did Dinosaur National Park (3xs) because there are so many different routes. Then Flaming Gorge...nice lake on 191 to swim at. Stores all all close and the town is beautiful!!!

Awesome park. Great location, super friendly owner and priced right.  We'll definitely stay again. WiFi is 5G fiber and superb.  Best I've I've seen in any rv park.  

Large mature trees. Nice wide sites.  Managers were very friendly. Clean park.  Only negative was that there were only 2 washers and 2 dryers in the laundry room.

Starting off the Gentleman that runs the park was very nice and helpful.   It was very easy to get situated in our space it was very Quiet and the other campers were very friendly. 

Nice shaded lots. Mostly flat. Weird setup with water on one side and electric on the other. Recently updated WiFi does not work for TV (have not tried the phone). No antenna TV reception of any kind. Cable does not work. Laundry is clean, except the chairs (really dirty). $1.75 per load for both washer and dryer. Only two of each. Friendly older manager. Office is on the right side of the building when you pull in. 

Nice park with a surprising number of good shade trees. Sites are kinda close together but everything else was great.

Great park. It’s small but spaces are nice size and lots of trees. Owner is very knowledgeable of the area and great host.  Our second time here and we’ll be back. 

The camp was nice the host was fantastic but road noise through the night was pick up truck loud mufflers and motor cycle loud racing mufflers. They need to make a law regarding that. Otherwise good place to stay. We were there for three nights.

Very clean RV park, shade galore and green grass. Paved roads. Super clean bathhouse. Only downside was loud exhaust vehicles!! On main road, but close to lots of natural attractions and museums. Would return.

WOW!!  What a wonderful little park.  When I called Dennis answered and said he had a spot for us.  When we arrived his son, Blake greeted us and shared all kinds of information about the local area, the best ways to accomplish our goals for this trip and even helped us get set up in out spot.

But the best thing about this park is the WiFi.  IT IS OUTSTANDING!!! We were able to stream Netflix for several hours and get caught up on all of our electronic correspondence.

Not only will we be back, we'll plan our trips in this area to stay here again for a longer time.  Probably bring the grandkids to spend some time in the dinosaur park.

I don't know the area but heard gunshots a few times that night so we left. I don't know the area and didn't meet any owner.

Great fatherSon operation. Park is small but spaces are well spread, level & lots of trees.  Very well located to visit all the area sites.  Dennis & son are extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Definitely stay again. 

Great father and son operation, very clean, and very helpful whenever we needed them. Knew exactly where we should go and have awesome stories about the colorful past of this little city. Wife and I would stay there again just to talk with the owners. Loved the shady spot we were assigned and not having to walk in 6 inch's of dust. Showers did cost a quarter, but 3 quarters gave me great 4.5 min shower, and 3 more gave me nice relaxing alone time.  

Older Park right in town and close to all kinds of stores. The owners are the friendliest people you will meet. Sites are a little close together. I had a gravel pull thru for my 42' 5th wheel, but I had to unhook as there wouldn't of been room to stay hooked up. Showers and Laundry were clean and kept up. The wi-fi worked pretty good at times. The cable channels were limited, and the trees would probably block your dish signal. Didn't really notice any road noise coming from town. The park is close to many of the attractions in the area.  Would stay here again.

We loved this family owned park in a great location close to everything. The owner spent time at checkin telling us about the area and all the sites we should see. Lots of shade trees but still spots that we could use our satellite dish.
We stayed 4 nights and spent time in the beautiful mountains and at 
the Flaming Gorge Dam sightseeing. 

Lovely park nice shade trees.  We spent 1 night in space 30 which is close to facilities but lots of diesel truck yahoos making noise on the street.

Great spot with wonderful trees especially when it is hot.  Easy in and great location for touring the area... $37.59.  Easy in and out

Very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to wash our coach. Clean and we'll kept park. Would definitely stay again

Guy at the front desk was super helpful and very nice. Clean bathrooms and laundry area. Pay showers. Nice sites with shade. Seems like lots of full timers in the park. 
Only downside is that it is just off a main street with lots of stores, etc so evening noise is a bit high, but once the stores closed it stopped. Upside is you can walk to grocery store or whatever else you need.

Stayed here June 2015 quiet park with nice sites and friendly staff can recommend for a basic stay with hookups

we stopped here on our family summer road trip on our way to Yellowstone. We had such a nice experience at this RV park! It was clean and the man at the front office was soo nice! He went out of his way to let the kids pick out the dinosaur of the day plack on the wall. A+++ park!
