Cumberland Falls State Resort Park

Tight parking spots   Wouldn’t recommend over 25’ campers.  Good bath house and friendly staff 

We have a pop up. So it was manageable, as other have said the sites are small. It’s not the parks fault, there is just not a lot of flat ground near the falls for a rv campground. If you have a 20 ft or less it is camper it is a great place to camp. We had a wonderful time. There is a shop at the campground little nicknacks you might have forgot. The pool is $5 a person.

If it wasn't for the falls, I would never stay here. There was no one at the office when I arrived at 3:45 pm on Sunday. There were no signs telling first time campers what to do.  Someone was parked in the site I had reserved. Someone told me that the hosts hadnt been seen for hours. I found my name on a site that was smaller then the one I had reserved. If the site across from mine had no been empty, there is no way I could have parked my 26 ft trailer. If the falls is your destination and you have a small rig then this might be reasonable option.

We loved visiting Cumberland Falls State Park.  However, we found the campground to be less than desirable.  Our 24 ft travel trailer barely fit in its spot.  Water and electric are shared between sites which means one (of every two sites) person needs very long hoses/cords to reach hook ups.  The dumpstation water hose was broken and not usable.  It was a holiday weekend and the office was closed for a 3 days.  No campground staff could be found.  It might be time for this campground to be reworked.  Sites were laid out weird and very close together.  

Like I mentioned first, the state park was very nice.  It included a lodge, cabins, seasonal pool and more.  The falls were beautiful and hiking was great.  

Nice small campground under big trees. Very tight and only for smaller RVs, pop-ups and tents. Lots of hills to drive through. Excellent bath house and laundry. Good staff. The falls along the river is beautiful and worth seeing.

Sites are like a parking lot, so you are right next to other campers, and the same across from your site. Very close quarters and crowded.  Showers and bathrooms were clean.  They tack on lots of fees, so it is more expensive than what they tell you.  For the money, the sites suck. There is a small grocery and supply store.  The falls are beautiful and very close by.  It's okay for spending the night, but I wouldn't want to camp there.

Friendly check in.  Site 40 very hard to level but ok.  No RV plug for elect. So bring adapter for household receptacle just in case. Park trails are great and waterfall is a treat.  Would definitely come again.

Beautiful park. Long ride into it. Very short back-ins @ 24ft. Amazing waterfall just down the street. Great class b stop.
