Creekside Mountain RV Park

The owner, Rita, was very friendly and made sure we knew lol the sites to see and names of good restaurants. This is a small park but very clean and accommodating. The highway is a bit noisy but is quiet at night.  The owner also has dogs that are fenced but curious and bark a bit much. 

Another review stated that all RVs under shade trees. There are no shade trees at this park. 

Great place!  We spent one night. Rita was helpful in getting us settled in. Close to Mount Rushmore.  Great WiFi.  Even though we were on the highway the noise was not bad. Would have given it 5 stars if the owners’ dog had not barked all evening.

Rita was wonderful she gave us information as to how to see the area which turned out perfectly. She befriended our granddaughter and took her riding around on her golf cart to feed the horses and such and gave her a very nice bracelet. We were pleased to make a good friend.  She also let us come in a day early then our reservation which helped us out a whole lot. Highly recommend this place. 

Rita is super sweet person she let me ride on her golf cart to feed the horses she is just sweet person the camp ground right of the road it get one close to the road at 10pm it quite down some what 

I am a 3 time combat veteran. My family is on a 4,000 mile trip around the country. We were headed to Mt Rushmore after an 8 hour drive and very much looking forward to a good night sleep. Because of my PTSD, I am very interested in a small and quiet place to park my RV for the evening. I called in advance to see how big the park was and the lady that answered the phone said “why do you need to know?” I ended up hanging up. She called me back and stated she was wondering because of all the BLM stuff going on and said she didn’t like it because she was a trump supporter! Later hater! Thanks for causing us to have to drive another 2 hours to find a place to park. 

The owner was very rude when I attempted to find the RV Park, I ended up going to another park that knew how to treat customers.

Great park for overnight stay. Rita was very helpful and friendly. Pet friendly, you can even let your dog run off leash in the area by the creek. Close to needles highway. The map she gave us had it on. Very well worth the drive, it was amazing! Full hookup for 20.00 with Pass Pass port America.

Noise, clean, great for big rigs, no frills. Would stay again, but if want closer to town or extras there are other choices. Cash only.

We loved this little RV Park.  There are on 15 sites.  Our site was a back-in that looked out over a beautiful green area with a twisty creek running through it.  Rita was a wonderful host who shared a map with us that we used to find all the near by attractions.  We will definately return the next time we are in the area!

Rita was sweet and helpful. We were backwards in the pull thru space but it wasn't full so didn't matter. Good wifi. Pulled into Crooked Creek first-oops! Passport America discount reflected below. Didn't notice any noise. Saw some deer as we walked dogs on the trail. 

All sites are on Highway 16.  So traffic noise was like a Walmart parking lot.  Traffic is light at night but starts early in morning.  Campground very clean and camp host was very nice.
