Countryside Campgrounds

I would love to write  review, but after two online reservation requests and two voice mail requests, (apparently they do not answer the phone), I have heard nothing from them. I guess business is good for them.

Nothing special but good enough for an overnighter.  Everything was done over the phone and never saw any staff, which was not a big deal for us. I liked that it was located next to a fuel station for easy fueling before departure. 

Perfect place to stop as you are passing through. Owners are very accommodating even after hours.  While right next to a truck stop and the interstate, it was actually the perfect amount of white noise.  Unique pull through sites. Full hookups.  

We were traveling through and just needed to dump. Called ahead and the gentleman said there were some spots open, go ahead pull in, dump and water was convenient and it’s a $10 fee. We arrived after hours so left the $10 in the black drop box outside the main office. 

It was good for a one night stay.  It’s noisy because of the close procximity to the interstate and many campers look to be long term, year around campers.  Kids were riding four wheelers and mini bikes through the campground a little faster than they probably should.  We had the ax on so it drowned out the noise for the most part.  

Good campground for an overnight stop along I-29 just south of I-90.  Gravel sites, all pull thrus, good utilities, good WiFi, convenience store and gas station.

All pull thru sites, gravel, mostly level. Good utilities, but WiFi is poor.  OTA television. Motel, gas station,  and convenience store on property.

We were on site 3, on the outer section near the highway. Surprisingly pretty quiet. Nice grassy area for the kids to play and run around in and a decent little playground. We loved that there were fuel pumps to accommodate a larger fifth wheel and the whole set up is great for travelers. Note: they can refill propane tanks, but only during the week M-F. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because our site wasn’t very level. 

We stayed one night. Easy access to freeway, but also freeway noise. Easy check in. Convenient. 

They have all the basics with the added bonus of gas station. The one major downside is you can hear the trucks braking all night long. Even over the sound of our fan. Spots are all pull thru and nicely leveled. They come with a cement pad and picnic table. I didn't try to wifi. The bathroom if you come at it from one direction isn't handicap accessible. I don't know how you'd get a wheelchair thru the doorway. 

We found this Campground and are very pleased. We will be back. Has the most unique pull through parking we have seen in the State..It is open all year round which I have not found before in SD. It is right next to I-29 but never really heard the noise until morning. 24 hour open conveniance store on grounds for your needs. Secure WiFi and 40+ TV stations. Only 14 miles from Sioux Falls.

Quick access from the freeway. Register in the convenience store. Clean, level site. Cement pad with picnic table.  Nice trees, grass and playground. Big decent laundry room $1.50 wash, & $1.00 dry. 

This park is probably best as a stop over while passing through.  Nothing fancy, but nice level pull through sites with a cement pad with picnic table.  Right off the interstate, so easy to get to.   Also noisy because of that.  There is a good gas station / truck stop right there, so you can fuel up and get some supplies you might need.  There are several seasonal campers parked there, some of which are run down.  I wouldn't say it's a great place to "camp", but it's great for what it is.  We live just up the road in Sioux Falls and recently got a new 5th wheel.  We wanted to take it on a shake down trip, so we stayed here.  Worked great for us.

WiFi signal was strong enough to connect, but had no internet.  Failed with unknown DNS error.

Don’t let the pictures fool you. This place was extremely clean and the staff was nice. The site are large and all pull throughs with a picnic table on a concrete slab. Quite a few trees to add some shade and the gas station near by has a great selection of goodies. We only stayed on night because we were passing through but we enjoyed it. There isn’t much around unless you drive up to Sioux Falls. 

Easy access off interstate and easy pull through spaces.  Reasonable rates if you don’t mind being 15 minutes from Sioux Falls.  We will return again.

Easy access. Gas & diesel on site with small fuel stop foods (pizza chicken etc).  If they tell you "choose any site"  be sure to ask "which ones are closed?" Before you set up.   Highway noise to be expected.

We were travelling from Montana to Florida in early December 2018 in a snow storm. This rv park was a very welcomed sight! The site was level and the bath house was toasty warm with lots of hot water. Very clean! The convenience store is well stocked and the clerk was friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

Good place to stay for a few days.

Campground is nothing more than an overpriced parking lot with hookups. It's overpriced with no amenities. For one night it's doable if you don't want to drive further.
