Chamberlain Information Center

Very nice place, bathrooms were clean and we weren’t bothered by anyone. The sign at the entrance says 3 hour limit but we stayed 6 with no problems. Busy throughout the night and hot and humid being right on the Missouri River.

Pretty rest stop, has Dignity Sculpture (statue) and a couple of nice little hiking trails to look over the Missouri River.

*Many* signs posted about video surveillance and no camping/ no stays longer than 3 hours...just saying.

Stopped en route to Sturgis. Not too many others when we arrived (6pm) but by 6am there were 20 campers, pick-ups, and 10 semis. Gorgeous statue, larger clean bathroom, scenic overlook is overgrown, beautiful sunsets behind the teepee. Will stop again.

Despite the posted signs for No Camping and 3 Hour Time Limit we stopped off here around 6:30 PM and decided to stay the night after being on the road 11 hours. By morning the lot was full of trucks, RV’s and autos who had clearly stayed the night. Beautiful view of Missouri River and very clean facility. 

We pulled in and there were many tractor trailers parked for the night as well as a few campers. We spent the night without any issues. Nice, free, and quiet spot.

Nice view and sculpture named "Respect". Lewis and Clark museum.  Attendant said no overnights.

Early May. Not open yet, so no one bothered us when we stayed the night. Three other RVs and a few trucks...large lot, plenty of room. Quiet. Tucked back off I-90. Great overlook. Highly recommend this stop. 

Juat FYI.. There is no camping here, parking is limited to 3 hours. When we stopped today , the dump station was closed also.

Nice Quiet and free

When a sign says “road closed” it does 🏠NOT say no cars beyond this point!  If you park where it says no overnight parking, you will not wither!   It means that if you don’t use common courtesy or if you get hurt, the owner is not responsible and you will have to leave when asked!   Walmart is the same way!  If the lot is big enough, and you park out of the way, you will not be asked to leave 

La dump station is close and no water

Good place for overnight stop. Well lit and is an outpost for the Highway Patrol as added security.
