Cartersville Walmart Supercenter

Stopped to sleep about 2am on a Saturday night after almost ten hours of driving. Got a spot out by the garden center along with three campers and three semi trucks. There's grass around the sides for the dogs to walk and potty. Bought a couple of items in the morning and off we went. 

Several truckers, RV’s and overnight cars at the back of the garden center. Felt safe and shopped for several meals, the store was clean and had friendly employees! Very much appreciate Walmart allowing us to stop for the night! Please join us in being respectful and leave Walmart cleaner you found it and put carts away😊

I called the store and they said it was ok to park overnight, as long as we were gone by 7:30 in the morning. 

I just called the Cartersville Walmart and they told me they do not allow overnight RV Parking per city ordinance!

Lots of space, many big rigs in the lot during the night. Lot is slopled so finding level maybe difficult. Overall great spot to stop for the night. 

You can still over night here.  I stayed on the garden center side (my choice), but it is likely the noisiest area (7 of 10 on noise level) as it is closest to the main road.  I should have moved to the far side of the parking lot away from Wal-mart, that would have been much quieter with trees and the small entrance road next to it. There were trucks in that parking lot as well as one behind me when I woke up.  I did go inside and ask a customer service rep and did a bit of shopping :)

Very nice place to stay, wide parking and decent. We have a very good sleep at night....would love to go back here next travel. Thanks Walmart for allowing us to stay.

There were a couple other trucks when we got there so we parked by them in front of the garden center, as far away as possible. We went inside, purchased a few things,  and asked the girl working in customer service if it was ok if we parked there for the night.  She thought about it a minute, then said Yes no problem as long as you aren't impeding any other customers. My fiance thought it was noisy but I slept like a baby.  

When we left the next morning around 9, another RVer parked next to us. Would definitely use this spot again.

Stayed a few days here no problem. 
There's a bar across the parking lot the gets loud and loud of people thumping music later but mostly by midnight it's settled down.  We would stay again!

Didn't call, just pulled in and had no problems.  We have a cargo van turned camper so we can park anywhere pretty much.  Saw a couple other vans, and 1 camper. Nice big level lot, clean store and pretty quiet at night except for the cleaning crew/sweeper machine but you get that at any store. Seems like a decent town and lots of stores down the main drag.  

Arrived around 2pm.  3 police cars with lights on at the  entrance.  Then once in the parking lot, 2 more with lights on questioning a man and his car.  Many people walking around with no place to go.  One of these carrying a bat.  That was enough for my wife and I.  We moved on to another spot.

We were lucky to get a spot in the front corner where it was nice and dark. The store was big and very clean and organized. Arrived late and left early.

About six free WiFi spots at this location.

Pulled in for a good night sleep. Found gas was at a great price $2.22 gal so I topped off my Class A.. I also filled up my belly at the Chinese restaurant. Then I favored Walmart by stocking up on previsions.

Another great quick overnight stay. Make sure you spend some money in the store to show your appreciation. Nice store with nice people. 

Thank you Walmart for this great place to park. We always load up on supplies when we are here. Convenient to I-75

Easy access off I-75 we were headed north bound- about 1 mile off interstate- parked on Garden Center side- one other RV and several truckers— there is s hospital across the street did hear a couple sirens but overall quite- would stop here again- thanks store manager for allowing us to stay

Easy in and out. Parked by the garden center. Spent the night 40 ft plus tow. Walmart is so kind to allow RV'S to stay. It's a shame that people lay their trash outside and leave without depositing it in a receptacle.  Receptacle is in the inside door of the store. Patronizing the store shows our gratitude. Or take your trash with you!!

This Walmart is open 24/7. As written in earlier reviews, we parked close to Walmart Garden Center (which was closed) and other trucks. Two other motorhomes stayed overnight as well. Once heard sirens. Sometimes heard trucks or their generators, but all in all a nice and quite night.

Saw a suspicious couple walking with shopping cart.  Hospital nearby, so sirens going off at all hours.  Little over a mile away from interstate, so not very convenient.

I called ahead and they said it was okay to spend the night as long as we parked on the garden center side away from the closest customer parking. There were a lot of trucks parked for the night. We were in a 45 ft motorhome and seemed to be the only RV there that night. There is a strip mall attached with a few stores including a Chinese restaurant and Lowes is next to the Walmart. Plenty of nice cut grass for our dog. A very good stop and not too far off 75.

I called to check on parking and you can park overnight. Beyond that, it's a pretty typical Walmart.
