Cannon Falls Campground

Spent 2 nights here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Park was very quiet. Many trees, lots of shade. Many long term sites. Sites were large and easy to back into. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. Out houses also in a few spots around campground. I didn’t use them. Had a large arcade building with a great many machines. Kids dream,parents will go broke 😁. One pickle ball court that also had a basketball hoop on it. Sand volleyball court. We biked from the campsite into town to bike the Cannon Valley Trail. We had to ride the very narrow shoulder on Hwy 19 less than half a mile till we got into town. Road wasn’t that busy so it was just fine. 

We stayed here during COVID and had a great time. It was clean and well taken care of. They had a big pool and good playground for the kids. Everyone followed COVID rules and seemed safe. They even had a food truck come in on Saturday night.  They have a honey wagon that can come pump you out since a lot of sites are water electric only. But if you plan ahead they do have full hookup too.  They have new owners.

Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is no dog park. 

We have already booked our return dates for 2021.
