Calhoun Walmart Supercenter

Security told us we could not stay over night. Got there as they were closing.  Ended up staying right off the exit ramp with some other truckers.  We have an rv. 

Per the customer service department, they no longer allow overnight stays due to recent shootings.  Stay safe!!

The people at this Walmart were very polite. We could park wherever there was not a flow of traffic, and there was plenty of parking! It was not as loud as some Walmarts we’ve been in. And the security came by and said a storm was coming, and that the store front door would be open in case we needed to get inside. What service!

Called the store and was told that we could stay overnight.  Gas on premises, which was convenient.  Cons,  highway noise, and close to train tracks. Train was a bit loud.  We personally didn't mind, but I thought I would mention it. 

Two semis were there but the security guard came up to me and said no more rv over nighters. Told me the rest area allows overnight parking. Not sure what exit but it is northbound on 75

Stayed a couple nights no problem. Decent area and quiet enough night. 

Stayed overnight 11/4/21.  Found a space on the right side by pickup area. Quiet. 1 RV and a truck sharing the space. 

There was a lot of room to park the Rv as the store was closed when we arrived. At about 6 am there was music playing in the parking lot.  It was fine for an overnight quick stop.

Parking lot is being resurfaced so much of it is blocked off. I parked near the road, a little noisy with traffic. No problems.

Big parking lot so lots of room to park. As others have said trains come through all night long.  Safety may be a concern. We got in bed and within an hour of falling asleep someone tried to open our cab and rv coach doors luckily they were all lock. They left when they couldn’t gain access, but it was a bit unnerving. 

Large. Parked my 42 foot and tow at the side parking lot for employees.  Clean and friendly.  Trains but we were tired and slept good. Dogs were able to get a good walk in.

Parked on far right side, towards the back where the employees park. Secluded and quiet except for occasional train.  Nice area back there to walk the dog. They don’t like you to park near the lawn and garden center. 

Parked at side near grassy/wooded area, one train went by around 10:30pm, no big deal. Woke to the beautiful sound of birds singing, nice view of woods. About 10 other RV’s stayed overnight. Lots of stores, restaurants and gas nearby. Would sleep here again!

noisy, loud music from other RV over-nighters, car without muffler racing around, tire squealing...a sucky night! however, it was close to freeway, fuel and breakfast.

Stayed right out by the road in my truck camper Towing my motorcycle trailer .Noisy  by the road but all in all good place to get off the road and sleep for the night no issues.

We parked on the automotive side. The train tracks are on the other. Typical automotive without mufflers noise issue. Long rigs with toad's might have problems maneuvering. Ok for one night. WIFI works great on both sides.  

No problems staying overnight here. There were about 6 other rvs/ trailers when we pulled in around 1am, and 2 remaining when we departed at 8am. We're a 40 ft class A pulling an F150 so parking lots are always a challenge. This one is okay to navigate as long as it's not too crowded. We stayed in December, kept windows cracked, we were fine with the noise (lots of traffic, etc). It's a little bit of a slope near the back where we parked, but its manageable. Overall just fine for a few hours of sleep since both the Flying J and I-75 N rest stop directly before this Walmart on 75 N were both packed full. Hope this helps! Happy RV-ing!

It was a hot hot night so slept badly as you couldn't do generator here. Right near train tracks so loud at night too. Was flat so might be ok here in winter
