Buffalo County Fairgrounds

We were inticed by the low price, but I think we got a lot for the price. There are 20, 30, and 50 amp hookups at every site. Fresh water and dump site were included with price. Typical fairground parking lot level ground.

FCFS, honor system. Pay at office drop box by cash or check. The sites are located at the light poles either side. Water & dump station along white fence. It was quite, didn’t hear lot of traffic noise or trains. It was safe. It’s basically a parking lot so the sites are very level. My biggest concern was the “local” fairground employees traffic, they would speed (like 35+ mph) & weave in/around the sites all through out the day. Be sure to check the event calendar as we were there during the fall craft show which caused people to park right next to your rig. Not a problem but we were packing up to leave & got blocked in. 

We stayed 2 nights. $20/night. Put in box on exterior wall of Fair office. Main entrance is on N Avenue. Very easy in/out. 30/50A. No water or sewer hookups. No showers/restrooms. Potable water & sewer dump station along white fence as you come in. Power outlets are in light poles on side facing drive into grounds. We didn’t realize so made a UTurn & faves out so we didn’t have to maneuver the power cord too much but totally doable on either side. Quiet, never heard train or street noise. Level. Felt safe. Will definitely stay here again. 44’ 5th wheel. 

Gravel lot w/electricity. Drop box for your payment. I would check calendar on website to see if anything is going on at the fairgrounds. Good for an overnight stay.

Pretty much info has been covered. The nightly rate now is $20. Would definitely stay again.

Real nice, well lit and very level gravel lot.  Close to RR tracks, but I heard nothing.  Only 2 of us here the night we stayed.   Also fresh water and dump station just north of driveway along the fence.  New outlets on 8 poles, each consisting of two 30 amp and two 50 amp outlets.  Realistically 16 spots, but if you were friends, maybe a couple more.  

I arrived during office hours and gave the lady a $20.  She asked if I wanted a receipt, and I asked if I needed one.  She said no, so I filled out no paperwork at all and left.  It appears that after hours, you might just stuff cash in the little black Dropbox?  I would guess that maybe an envelope identifying what RV you're paying for would be a good idea, but there are none.

Well worth $20 on a hot summer night for a safe secure spot with electric!

Stayed for one night while eastbound on I-80. 30 and 50 amp electric with water and a dump station available. It is a level, dirt lot.

40 sites available and there were six of us here.  Very quiet. First come first served.

$15 a night. Newly refurbished Electric, many level lots with 50 amps or less.  Great resting spot for a humid night.

Came in to grounds talked to lady at Fair office. She advised that there was only a couple of boxes with electricity because they were reworking the grounds.  She left quickly and then I find out that there is no electricity anywhere in the grounds . Its 89 degrees and I've been driving all day .......Really? 
.Called official number no response. Emailed no response. Flat level water and dump available. 

UPDATE after talking to young lady she did refund our money

All fairgrds the same. Stay cheap. 50amp no water/sewer. Some semi traffic, suspect local. Mostly quiet/secluded 4 us. We like. Put check N dropbox @ office.

We paid $15 the following day. We woke up late. The fairgrounds opens at 8am, we came very close to being parked in. Electric on the wood light poles. Inexpensive over night stay. There was a K9 unit that patrolled the lot also.

Nice enough place for overnight.   Basically a gravel lot with electric hookups on the light poles.  Water and dump available.   Was here on Friday night so put 15 bucks in the drop box out side the office.

Stayed here June 2018. It is a gravel lot. It had been dragged perfectly smooth. The grounds were very neat and clean. There was water and a dump station. Electric is at each of the poles in the lot. There were a lot of trains but once we turned the air on you couldn't hear them. There were grassy areas to walk the dog. We payed $15 in the after hours box at the office.
