Brigham City / Perry South KOA

One of the nicest KOA we’ve stayed at. Great staff and the owner was right there to guide us in. Our space was a little small but it worked great for our 45’ MH plus our tow. We would have stayed longer but we needed to get home. We highly recommend it!!

Arrived at the end of a long day of driving and escorted to our reserved spot - was too small for our rig with a seep slope, no hope of getting level.  Requested a new space, had to pay extra for the same “deluxe” slot.  Slot was long enough but took 3 or 4 back and forths to get level enough for the levelers to do the rest.  Setting is beautiful but would find another park, not a first choice park.

Quiet, very good service and more small treats during our stay. Nice swiming pool. I don’t understand why other post was negative. Wifi strong enough for streaming :-)

Absolutely terrible. In the past we stay 2 or 3 times/yearly. Never again! Surrounded by farmers that burn their debris. Aggravating for anyone breathing! Less than 25 ft from sites!

Great communication.  Arrived as office closing. Back-in site, but no one directly behind us, so could pull through. Puddles from rain. Tight, but worked for quick overnight.  Only used electricity.  Noise from road not too bad. 

Stopped here for one night in a pull through site. Nice little wooded KOA that looks out into an open field. The pool was packed when we arrived. Looked pretty nice for a weekend stay. The pull through sites were very skinny. Towed our 34ft fifth wheel with 2 slides. 

Wasn't spot 5 and could not drain my sewer because the sewer was uphill

Employees were very kind, helpful and expedient. The amenities suited our 
needs especially the clean laundry room and the dog run.

We stopped here for an overnight stay as we headed home. Easy access to the Interstate, but not too close. 
The showers were the cleanest I've ever experienced!  Good water pressure, hot water, a place to set the soap and other toiletries in the shower stall, plenty of wall hooks, and even music piped into the room!  The grounds were nicely kept and landscaped. 

My family stayed at this campground and had a horrible experience. I took my 2 year old to the playground and he found GLASS in the sand underneath the swings. There were two other little boys there and said they found glass in the sand before as well. Besides that, the playground was worthless. They had a couple swings, and painted missiles for the kids to sit on. The pool was not heated at all. We stayed here in the heat of the summer and the pool was never warm. In fact, it was so cold you could barely put your feet in. My husband said that the men's bathroom had leaking toilets. The shower rooms had low dividers. You could make eye contact with the person standing in the shower stall next to you. They also cleaned the bathrooms in the middle of the day (around 11-2 o'clock) when people needed them the most. They kept watering the grass at our campsite with violent sprinklers which made it very hard to enjoy our time outside.

Just left yesterday and can't get over the negative vibe from the campground. Couldn't even feel comfortable enough to put out my lights, awning, and decorations. Didn't feel safe or comfortable. 

While sitting near my camper one morning a few days ago, I saw one of the managers come banging on the door of a camper who had pulled in next to us the night before. This was at around 10AM, and I can assure you that these folks had not had any more than a few hours of sleep. No note was left - just a crazy owner banging on their door. Here's the best part. About a half hour later, he did it again. Only this time, it appeared he was going to go right through that family's door. I couldn't believe it. So, after they got out and about that morning, I got the whole scoop. I don't know if they review, but you all need to hear the truth. Here's the story:

They arrived late the night before and had paid for 5 nights at the campground via the night registration process. Even though the KOA night registration form asks how many nights and the total you'd like deducted, they were banging on this man's door to "verify they actually wanted to stay 5 nights." Are you kidding me? The managers accosted these people after they'd fully paid for a longer stay. Here's a good one, too. The man who owned the camper called afterwards to find out why they were banging on his door. They explained that they needed to verify that he wanted to stay that long. He asked why they needed to do that when he properly filled out the form and gave them his credit card for 5 nights. They said that they needed to make sure and that the space might not be available. The other owner told him that they had to move people around in their reservations system. They hadn't even tried to see if the site was available but made him sit on the phone while they moved people's campsites around. So, instead of just helping him, they apparently had to beat their chests and make him feel bad about wanting to stay longer than one night.

For us, we noticed the service was pretty bad. The pool was freezing cold. Staff were constantly running around the campground staring at everyone. They also moved sprinklers all around the campground and tended to get people's area wet. It seemed they focused on their newer sites but let the others go. Several people were complaining about power outages when I was in the office. Lots of rules for the customers but none for the owners. They seem to run a weird, little ship there.

Most of the sites are excruciatingly small. If you want any room whatsoever, you'll have to pay the $77+tax for a patio site. Even then, the spaces are small. You'll have enough room for your RV if you don't get a shared spot, but you won't have any room for any sense of privacy or space.

No WiFi at each site is about the only negative,  Clean, friendly, and quiet.  It is great for families.    Local air museum and Golden Spike Monument is fairly close.  

New owners took over in March 2018, nice couple.  Nice  park with lots of shade trees and beautiful Mountain View.  Located on a mostly quiet street - nice for walking. Distant view of the Great Salt Lake.  Closing end of October for the season, but call - they may take in a few as they have a few permanent residents. 

Enjoyable, quiet KOA. Toilets and showers were immaculate. Fancy shower head for different spray patterns (highly unusual for 'camping').  Huge shade trees to moderate the August temperatures and a nice view of the mountains. Accommodating, friendly staff. Wish I could stay longer

Although the laundry close too early and the Rv space is narrow, we spent a happy afternoon on the beautiful mountain view grassland. There's some tall tree besides the  picnic table.The reception Lily is so friendly and the shower is very clean.

We are happy that we are just one night over here the showers where smelling and in the pool there was poop in it. We payed 53 dollar for one night but could better go to national forest campground with no hook up
Laundry could not be use between 6 pm and 8 am. Not worth the money

The sites are super narrow. We had on slide and barely could open all the way between trees and bbq grill. Nice people. Didn't use pool so can't comment on it. We had to level camper quite a bit and never did get it level.

I should have added that we stayed there last week. Low hanging trees. Pool was a complete joke and dirty. Just not the koa feel to it. Could have stayed in a truck stop out here for nothing.

Koa has gone downhill seriously over the past few years in our opinion.

Just isn't as good as it used to be. 

As with all koa's clean bathroom s but the pool is a joke. It can't be 70 degree's don't plan to be in to long
