Bow RiversEdge Campground

Located on a narrow, curvy road.  Site was ok, hookups ok. No internet, no beer/wine, no smoking. Bathrooms were FILTHY, looked like no cleaning for weeks. Toilets clogged, etc. It was not expensive, and was quiet, thus the 2 stars. 

The setting, grounds, sites are lovely. Shrubbery between most sites. Staff very upbeat.  Laundry room modern, bright and spotless. BUT, if you don’t have Starlink or a Hotspot, forget using internet. Clearly it’s known because the literature given at checkin has a disclaimer for internet. We’d go again, but not without our own devices. 

Super clean park,friendly staff and all hook ups are up to date (no loose electrical boxes)
Lots are not huge but in private cause there are hedges separating everything. 
There are some trees for shade. 
On the edge of town,so close to everything. 
There is a bike path just outside the gate that seems to go on and on. 
All around great park.

Very nice clean kept up park. Great dog run along the river. Very clean rv spaces. I would go back.

PRO - Stayed here before. Very clean well kept up park. My site was a gravel 30 Amp FHU Pull-Thru. Sites are close together, but separated by hedges, which make them feel a little bigger. Site was big enough to disconnect from my 42' 5th wheel and still have room to park. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring on a grassy area. Park was easy to maneuver in. Site was satellite friendly. There is change machines for the laundry.
CON - Park can be hard to find if you never been before. They need to put directional signs up from the lumber mill to the park. The park is hidden behind a mall.
No Cable Television
Gate to the park closes at 23:00, but is open 24 hours for when the Stampede is going on.

This is one of the best RV parks we've stayed at.  Beautiful location.  Each generously spaced site has a small grass yard defined by the landscaping/shrubs.  Utilities are conveniently located.  All facilities are meticulously maintained.

Very nice place, manicured sites.  Sites have gravel for your rig but a nice patch of grass for your relaxation.  Really nice touch was the shrubbery between the sites; gave an extra measure of privacy.

Clean bathroom.  Laundry and showers were a bit more expensive than most. Up charged for having a pet... we don’t like that.

Great place to stay on the way to Lake Louise.  The dogs really loved the walking around the rivers edge.  I would love to go back and stay longer. 

I didn't hear much about the rules except to the gate being closed at 11:00pm. I wanted to stay three days but they only had one site the first night and then move to a second site for the next two nights. I checked at 11:00 in the morning they said I could move to new site after it was cleaned. I caught the two young men cleaning sites and they had already cleaned the site and I could move there. Very accommodating!  I have to say this is the nicest RV so far and I've been full time since Nov. 2017. The only thing that was funny was the $4.50 for a Häagen-Dazs ice cream bar. For $4.50 it should have been delivered. :-) I would stay there any time!  Also three days were only $100.00 US

We have stayed at Bow Riversedge Campground in Cochrane Alberta a number of times and we'd likely stay there more often if their staff and policies were a little more customer friendly.

Their staff is anal retentive in terms of campground rules. We arrived a little after noon but were forced to park and sit until after 1:00PM to move into our site which had already been vacated and cleaned, ready for us. The same thing happened two days later when some friends arrived. Their site, across the roadway from ours, had been vacant for two days yet they had to park near the entrance and wait about an hour for the official 1:00 PM move-in time. All the staff would say is "That is the rule."

They also lock the front gate at 11:00 PM and if you arrive back at your site after that you have to park at the adjacent sports complex and walk in. This is extremely difficult for my wife who suffers from arthritis. Their electric gate is already equipped with a keypad that could allow park guests in after hours. Again, when the park staff are questioned about this and asked to make an exception for my wife's physical limitations, their reply was "That is the rule."

Such nice scenery by the river. Lots of nice walking/biking trails along river. Clean well manicured park. Sites not huge but adequate for our 41 ft Motorhome. Bathrooms clean. Young woman in office very friendly and helpful. Couple older ladies seem like they would rather be someplace else. 

The campground is quite well maintained. Sites are level, gravel, and separated by hedges. Very close together and not much area that isn't campsites. There was a nice playground and office area. Entire area is under construction around it, but signage is excellent to find it, apparently an improvement from last year.
Was packed over long weekend.

Campground is not that easy to find off of the main highway (poor signage). I was given a gravel pull-thru FHU 30 Amp site for my 42' 5th wheel. I was able to unhook my truck & still have room to park on the site. Site are close to your neighbor, but a hedge separates you and the next site so it makes the site look a little bigger. Park is well maintained and looks well kept. Wi-fi worked well on my site. Picnic table & fire ring are on the site. Would probably stay here again.

Beautifully maintained, but one certainly should call for a reservation, unless in off season, then you might get lucky.
Right on river walk. Quiet and incredibly well maintained. 
The free WiFi is useless; we used our mobile data.
Stayed here in 41' DP, pulling a short motorcycle Trailer. 
Had rain not been predicted for the next few days, we would have stayed longer. 

Good place to be a base camp. Well maintained. Not much to do in the rv park itself and so much construction going on around the area.
