Bearmouth RV Park

What a gem. Friendliest staff ever!  I asked for a spot where I could see the river so I had no trees or bushes. My lawn was a dryer than the others. Not a problem since I had the flowing river for calming. I did not use the laundry mat r bathrooms but everything else was extremely well cared for. The nouse from the freeway is close but that is calming fir me. A couple of the trains were loud, but didn’t last long. I had a very relaxing stay. I will definitely stay again. 

Pretty spot right by the river. Just off the highway. Easy in and out easy pull crews. Minor road noise. Spots do not have sewer because they are right next to the river. They do have a dump station. Nice staff.

This little place carved into the mountains of Montana is an absolute gem. The only thing is the price is a little high considering the sites don't have sewer, but you can't beat the location or the beauty of this park. Plus you are super close to Nimrod hot springs, which is about one mile up the highway and worth a stop during the summer for a swim in crystal clear waters. Bathrooms were super nice here and they are right next to the river which was amazing. 

Stopped here for a night and it was great! Both Sharon and her husband were fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful too! They have a food truck and a little coffee stand onsite. We had burgers at Parker’s and wish we had more time to explore the area like the Garnet ghost town. 

Great little park for a great price. The only downfall I found for the park is that it doesn't have direct sewer hookups but you do have a bathrrom with free showers. Keep in mind when staying here it is right off the Interstate and train tracks nearby so it can be a bit noisy.

WHEN ARRIVING GO STRAIGHT PAST THE MAIN BUILDING AND DOWN THE HILL TO CHECK IN.

We recommend  the Bearmouth Campground! We were warmly welcomed by the owners and escorted to our site. Driving a 44' Class A w/Toad, we appreciated the level, large pull thru gravel sites. We had 30 amp service which struggled a bit, but management was prompt to respond and have it corrected. We enjoyed the clever appointments and had a great float in the river. One afternoon they suggested a wonderful drive into the Sapphire Mtn. area along the river and we walked our first suspension bridge! Nearby in the town of Drummond we fell in love with the Parker Family Restaurant who boast over 159 different burgers and $1 Huckleberry ice-cream cones-delish! 😋 Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

Booked a pull-thru site for 2 nights.  Assumed it was 50-amp but it was only 30-amp. No 50’s available and it was 95 degrees so the coach couldn’t cool down with only one AC. Space was so tight we had to disconnect the toad, drive the RV around, and back in. Camp internet didn’t work at our site (62), trees blocked our satellite, and there were no over-the-air channels. Tried to sit outside but there were a million mosquitoes. No restaurants or stores within 10 miles. Train and road noise all night. After the first night we explained that the site didn’t work for us. No others were available so we said we had to leave and requested a refund for the second night. “Sorry but we have a NO REFUND policy.” Lots of other campgrounds within 50 miles so you may want to look at other options.

It’s to bad this place is located against the highway and train. Everything else about our stay was perfect. Sharon was great when we made our last minute booking, offering us several options for our stay, where she could fit us in. Everything was exactly as described by her on the phone. All campers are escorted to their site. It is along the River, so on the hottest day of our stay we took a swim with the kids. There are shaded areas, which is the site we were in. Made for a nice peaceful stay even when it was nearly 100 degrees outside. 

Convenient location off the interstate,  great prices and large pull thru spots! 

Pretty area, a lot of pine trees & area to walk. Only negative point is that it is right off the highway. Gravel sites with quite a good distance between sites. Didn’t use bathrooms or shower, just a one night stay. Would go back.

Easy access from freeway.  We have a 44’ fifth wheel pulled by a large dully and had no trouble pulling into the park and into our site.  Large pull throughs. 
Owner was extremely nice. Park was clean, clean showers and laundry.  
Internet and cell service are very limited.  No sewer hookup. Dump station at the top of the hill.  

Would definitely stay here again.

Saw this along the interstate on our way to Glacier and stopped in on the way back. Not cramped, good level pull thrus. Not full hook ups, but a dump at the top of the hill. Would stop again.

Loved this place. We stayed a month while our truck was repaired. The owner was kind enough to loan us one of his jeeps. They hosted a cookout for Labor Day, offer atv tours, have 50 and 30 amp with water and some of the cleanest bathrooms ever. There is also a dump station as you exit. Will definitely return.

Very nice and helpful host. I found it to be pretty quiet other than the traffic and a train every once in a while. The bathrooms were very clean and the grounds were well taken care of. We would stay again. 

Dogs barked ALL night. Campground host claimed it was up to us to talk to owners. Absolutely NOT!! Was told when I called that full hookups were available. Only electric and water offered. Should be by compensated for the lost sleep. Traffic noise & train noise can't be controlled...other campers can. Do not stay here if you need to rest!

This was a drive-by find as we were traveling north I-90 and 30 miles south of Missoula MT. Nice grassy and shady CG along a beautiful river with I-90 and major railroad line following the valley. Site are spacious for all sizes, Water/Electric only very level with light gravel surface and grassy area. Lots of green spaces plus several access point to the river. This is a family run operation, making a go at it. They have renovated Bath and Laundry facility, but have a way to go with some big dreams. This place is a great stop; supporting a growing small business Expect they will have this place top of the line in a few years. Only draw-back was lack of campground wifi, great connection if you are at the large chalet/hotel, but out at the sites- nothing. We will stop again and see how this place improves- lots of raw potential beautiful setting, and a great place to stay.

Upon arrival it is a quiet park by the river. Greeted by a grouchy camphost who seemed extremely very put out to have to find our spot. Our pull through was extremely small so our tow vehicle had  parked in another spot. The bathrooms are extremely clean but the showers are small. Be prepared to battle mosquitos while you are there. They swarm you and your dog. The Rv park did flood severely during our stay. The owners were extremely nice and helpful during the flooding. The camphost did nothing more than grumble about his working conditions. The park and the owners deserve 5 stars, but because of the camp host I cannot give more than 2 stars for our visit.

This is one of the most friendly parks we have stayed in.  The owners and camp hosts strive to give you a pleasant and memorable RV experience.

The facilities are excellent with very nice showers and a good laundry facility.  

A nice, quiet, and well maintained park with large pull thrus for the big rigs.  

We loved the experience at Bearmouth RV Park and will revisit this park when we’re in the area! 

Pros: easy access of I90 very convenient.  Long spaces will accommodate the longest rig.  30 or 50 amp depending how much you want to pay.  Nice people to check you in.  Good Sams discount.  Pay by cash as added cost for credit card.  

Cons:  dusty, not all spaces will get your satellite.  Wifi is non existent unless you go to the "chalet".  Train on the other side of the freeway goes by very often and shakes the coach.  Freeway noise.  Long narrow hill to get down into the park

Stayed with no reservation  Not crowded at all  Clean bathrooms and well maintained park with spacious pull thru spots and beautiful location next to the Clark Fork River. The driveway going down into the park could be a bit intimidating for larger coaches.  Dump station is on upper level. Only stayed one night in a 26ft motorhome.

Dump station is near by the entrance and by the office. Was easier to hook the car up after we got up there and dumped.  We stayed one night on our way to Idaho in a 40ft motorhome and toad.

Clean spacious park right on the river.  Large dog walk, not crowded in any way and the host staff was super friendly.  Cash / Check only and $40 for a 50 AMP hook up.  Dump station only.

Clean, quiet, laundry room, showers, pull through sites, helpful host; great place to stay.  Water and electric at site and some have picnic table and fire pit.  Some sites along the river. Dog friendly.  Looks like some construction is underway in the lot next to grounds.  

Super convenient location. Awesome hosts. Low key friendly operation. We will return again. 

What a great find! Skip and Donna the camp hosts were so nice. Very clean and working on so many improvements. .RECOMMENDED.

This park has new owners and is in a beautiful location on the Clark Fork river. Clean park. Restrooms and showers are very clean. Staff and owners are very friendly.
