Banning RV Park & Campground

Very beautiful with large trees of various types. Different types of sites to chose from so that was nice. Very friendly staff. You can see they've made lots of improvements over the recent years and it's getting very nice.

This is an LLC. So, customers are not a priority.  It’s mid September and I’m sure employees are scarce. Shut down sections, maybe? but not cleaning restrooms, not mowing tall grass, not picking up litter, it was embarrassing.

First things first, nowhere on there website do they mention a nightly pet fee charge. It was not until I got my confirmation email that I saw that they tacked on a 3/night additional fee for a pet. They brings the weekday rate for water/electric to 38.00 and weekend to 43.00. All sites are horribly unlevel and the gravel is mostly gone so you will probably be partly on dirt or grass. Be careful walking outside on your site as it is not level and rutted. The internet here is horrible, it continues to drop your connection, pretty much worthless. On the weekends there is significant road noise from interstate 35. 

On arrival, someone was still occupying our pull-thru spot. Staff had been trying to get ahold of him to move since he’d over stayed, however we ended up having to go to a back-in spot. The staff was super apologetic and helpful despite this, and the back-in spot had full hookups for everything as well, but it was a pain to get in and out of with our larger TT.

The campground is clean and well maintained as far as grass and sites go. Our pad was pretty level as well and really didn’t need much to level out the RV. The play structures leave a lot to be desired, with one of them rather dilapidated - to the point of it being a safety hazard (slide broken where hands go, exposed nails/screws, etc). They do, however, offer a fenced in dog park and a game shack with a bunch of stuff to do such as bags, giant Jenga blocks, soccer/footballs, and a Gaga Ball pit.

Overall, I would recommend it but it could use a couple safety upgrades

Nice park with lots of room.  Friendly, helpful staff.

Only downside: hearing highway traffic.... 

The only reason for a 4 star and not 5 is that they are in process of a lot of stuff. This park will be so awesome in a few months. We will defiantly be back here. Hospitality like no other. 
*they were improving pad sites during our stay so we could see that they are working hard to get it to be excellent.
