Ansley City Park

Nice city park with gravel/asphalt base mix. Sites are mostly level. Full hookups. Spaces are close together and use splitter on water as one hydrant for two sites. I was only camper. Mixture of shade and sun, fire pit, separate grill pedestal and heavy wooden picnic tables. Park has ball diamond with kids playing summer games. There is a shelter area and restrooms only on East side. Clean and stocked. Asphalt entrance turns to gravel to the sites. Few pot holes and muddy if rains. Fishing ponds are busy at times. Occasional ducks on pond and can watch fish swimming. Busy train track close with horns at several crossing. Didn’t bother me but may not be for everyone.

Trains! Not a quiet night. This is a nice city park with 7-8 full hookup sites for $10/night on a little oxbow lake.
