Please Be Considerate

Walmart provides a great store with ample parking to accomodate RVs. Many even allow travellers to park and catch a few hours of rest (depending on city ordinances). Please use common courtesy and follow these guidelines to ensure that they will continue to extend this courtesy to us.

Ask the store manager for permission to stay.
Do not stay for multiple days.
Leave it cleaner than you found it.
No grills, chairs, etc. Walmart is not a campground.
Buy your supplies, groceries, etc. in the stores.

“1 night parking only”

Checked with manager, they allow 1 night RV parking but you need to call or talk to the manager in person to get permission. Sits on a hill above US-30 so not too much noise. Store is small but has a wide selection of foods and goods, fairly new and well maintained.

“Very friendly and accommodating”

Our truck needed repairs at the local shop while we were in the middle of our vacation. Walmart manager was very friendly and understanding. Let us drop the trailer in lot and 'camp out' for the afternoon while truck was repaired. Also allow overnight camping just park in the far corners.
