Lamplight Lane RV Resort at Glen Oaks

Bad roads with huge holes filled with water and mud. Man was friendly but needs to put that tractor to work and fix the holes in road. Did not stay here small sign at entrance said no vacancy. We did not see in time to avoid running through park to turn around. 

As other reviewers have reported, this is an old park in need of some updating. Its location is excellent for a shorter stay but I wouldn’t encourage it for a longer family vacation. The sites are tight but they’re pull-through and the breaker never tripped — even when running the AC with the instant pot and the keurig. Even though it’s a bit faded, I’m giving it 4 stars because the customer service was so outstanding. 

A wonderful couple now have the park. It needs repair but doing some each day. Sites are long enough for our 41 ft diesel. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is a great little RV park!!  We stopped for 1 night on our trip through and this was the perfect place!  The owners are SUPER nice, friendly and accommodating, it is easy access to the freeway, very affordable, and pet friendly!!  The facilities are older but very clean!!  I would without a doubt stay here again!  

Just what I was looking for in an RV park for a short stay.  Was there for 3 nights, for a BCT graduation. Owner was super nice. Gave us directions to Ft Leonard Wood main gate, and what to expect. Checked on us each time he saw us, making sure we were happy with our stay.  Nice clean, quaint little park.  No issues with hookups.  Didn't use showers or restrooms at the park so I can't comment on them.  It is close to the highway, but road noise was a non-issue. Would definitely make this my stop if traveling through the area again!  Price was right too!

Nice small campground.  Clean. Owners are very nice and helpful. Second time staying here. Last summer we where there for a month visiting our kids and grandkids station at FLW. We where there a week this time.  Will be returning on our way back west.  If you are on the 44 stop in you wouldn’t regret it.

We stayed six nights, it’s a small tight park. The owners are very nice and helpful. We were there for our son's graduation from Fort Leonard Wood. The bathrooms and showers are in desperate need of an overhaul, but function. WiFi was ok for the most part, and they do have a lot of DVD’s to loan. 

Nice little overnight stop. Staff extremely nice. Very small park had alittle trouble getting out. Right on 66 

I wasn't going to write a review until I saw the one previously left. We came in on the sixth and I walked quietly into the park office and waited for a few minutes behind a guy who stood there whining to the nice man behind the counter about how he hated highway noise.  The man (who I later learned was the owner, John) politely told the guy that he wanted him to be pleased with his stay and that if he was sensitive to road noise he could recommend a park nearby that was not close to the road.  As it turned out for us, the road noise was barely noticeable and I'm guessing this guy probably whines about everything! We had a good time, we were there for our son's graduation from Fort Leonard Wood.

We stayed here for an overnight.  It is right by I44 and there is highway noise.  When we asked to be placed away from the highway, we were told by a male worker, "if you are looking for peace and quiet, this ain't it.". Which was so strange, because the woman who took our reservation was so nice.

Small park with tight spaces.  Friendly and helpful manager. Old and tired bathrooms but new showers being put in the women's. Close to highway so persistent highway noise.

It was our first experience traveling in an RV. After a long night of traveling we desperately needed a recharge. It was very early in the morning and we couldn’t find a place to stop. Lamplight Lane RV Resort answered and got us a spot with no problem. They were extremely helpful and very friendly! Very easy to find. Thank you! 

Hoofing our way home to Southern California and needed an overnight we could hook up to electric. Found this place and it was just what we needed. No frills, some full timers, but we got a pull through site. Owners John and Barbara were as hospitable as could be. 

This is a quaint little park and the new owners are planning on some improvements in the near future. The sites are gravel and some are more level then others. 

So crowed that you have to unhook to park.. So tight it was an act of God how my husband got out of there without destroying our trailer.

Friendly owners, right off hwy, close to base.  Monthly and nightly rates, 50 amp sites, 30 amp sites, wifi, pets allowed, laundry room, bathrooms (run down but usable).
