North Llano River RV Park

Easy to get to from I-10. Friendly staff. Be careful with the entrance! If your a bigger RV you might scrape! Right down the road is a great BBQ place! Lum’s BBQ! 

Pros: quiet, gravel sites are level, really good 5G Wi-Fi.  They take Passport America.  Rate paid reflects discount.  Cons: Ants, ants, ants, and goat head stickers all over.  Be extra careful especially walking pups.  The small dog run was a bit cleaner than the big one.  

Very overpriced. It's a no frills place. Gravel sites.  Could use more maintenance.  The river is dried out, grass very dry. Only stayed 1 night so didn't use the facilities. 

Clean, level sites.  Happy with our overnight stay.

We had a lovely stay here. Nice, shady, pull-thru site (54) on gravel. Patio with small wooden picnic table and 2 Adirondack chairs. FHU + Cable TV.  Hook ups were well placed. Only disappointment was the pool was out of service. Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Had some cute baby ducks in the office. Laundry was clean $1.75 to wash, $1.75 to dry. Did not use bathrooms. Very convenient from HWY 10. Small, well stocked grocery store (Lowe's) in town.
Be sure to see the Kimble County museum only 2 door away...very interesting. Also see the antler tree in front of the processing plant.
Would stay here sgain for sure. Got 15% discount because we stayed at Road Runner RV park in Johnson City. Otherwise there's a 10% Good Sam Discount. We are full-time SR RVers. We pull a 35ft travel trailer. No kids, no pets.

Great place to overnight or stay. Our 2nd time here and clean restrooms, large shaded sights and friendly hospitality were outstanding.

Super friendly and helpful staff! Nicely shaded, level sites and right on the river. Highly recommend for a stopover. If we had more time, this would be an ideal retreat for a longer stay. Full hook up and WI-FI.

Nice little park. It’s a little out dated, but check in was a breeze and the staff is great. It’s about a 50/50 mix of residents and people passing through. There’s minimal road noise and it’s right on the river so fishing is possible. The lots are gravel and mostly level. Our auto level had no trouble. In and out we’re simple. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again

What a jem! Well maintained, creek in the back, bathrooms clean. Staff wonderful!

Nice campground. Very friendly hosts. Gravel and level site. Good internet. Poor cable reception. Extremely small showers. Clean restroom.  Delicious bbq at Lums close by. 

Lovely Little Park on the River, renamed 10/83. Easy off and on level gravel spot. Pull thru. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again. 

Grounds are lovely with many large trees. Teeny tiny older showers if that matters to you. 

August 2021 Very nice employees.. Level site. Nice cool pool. Only problem was the very small sticker burrs which were everywhere. Our dog had to wear booties and we wore tennis shoes. Convenient to I-10. 

Agree with others, this is a great little park on the river. Easy on/off, decent size lots, friendly staff, big rig friendly, decent amenities and good prices. There is a little highway noise but not too bad. Highly recommend. My rig is 37' 5ther.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The sites are well equipped and well maintained. 

Spent 4 days here late February 2021 @ $37.00 per day (discounted) with FHU.  The water pressure was at 60psi and the electric and sewer worked as expected.  This is an older park but very clean.  This park is very easy to navigate, even for big rigs.  The park has cable TV, however ours did not work very well.  All but a few channels were very snowy.  I suspect because site 71 was at the end of the line.  My complaints fell on deaf ears.  However, the Wi-Fi was pretty good during the day at 6+ Mbps and 2+ Mbps during prime time.  There is a laundry of $1.75 to wash or dry.  We did not use the shower/bathhouse.  The outside pool was closed and empty.  There is a play ground up front for the kiddies to play on.  A complimentary site trash pick-up at 10 am is a very nice perk!  Many sites have a pergola, fire pit and brick patios.  Many (but not all) sites are a bit more spacious than most RV parks.  The river is accessible to all park residents and the river sites do not have sewer but many have electric & water.  During our time here the park was approximately 1/3 full.  My only major complaint is the barking and loose running dogs that were ignored by management.

We arrived New Years Eve  day and stayed 2 nights.  It snowed for New Years Eve and it was beautiful.  The park is mostly pull through spaces and is convenient to the I10, yet not noisey.   The only noise we heard was fireworks bringing in 2021.  They have full hookup and Cable.  Internet worked well and was recently upgraded.  The park borders the Llano River which is nice to walk along.  We will stop by again.  We may use the pool next time, but it will need to be a lot warmer.

After a snow storm and in spite of being inundated by everyone wanting to get off the road, they went out of their way to find a spot for us at the last minute. Nice patient staff. Appear to be upgrading the property. Nice location on the river. But most importantly high rating on customer service!

We stayed using  the Passport America rate. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. It looks like they are doing many improvements. We have a little dog and I had to be careful where I walked her because there were stickers everywhere and not really any grass to walk her on. We had a pull through which was plenty long enough for our rig with a tow dolly. We would stay there again for an overnight stay but wouldn’t stay longer until the grass was without the stickers, it was too hard on my little dog.

Everything here was really great. Very nice place down by the river. Super easy access from I10 but you can't hear it at all. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Big pull through sites with lots of space. 

Park has new owners, new managers and new name. Now called 10/83 RV Park.  So many great updates in park and improvements that includes great new WiFi. 
Nice Pulthru sites for overnight travelers. Big rig friendly. You are escorted to site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small campstore on property plus a dog park. 
Easy access to I-10. Nightly rates are $41.11 but with discount if have Good Sams,AARP,AAA OR Military  its $37. 

We reserved a spot a month in advance for 3 nights but left after 2. You could not step outside anywhere without getting stickers. The pool was very out dated and extremly bleached but deep and usable. After only staying 2 nights we tryed to get refunded for the 3rd night we were not using and they couldn't do it. The campsite was so unlevel that my jack almost maxed out lowering to the ground before it would level out my wife was worried we would roll backwards down the hill in the middle of the night. Junction is a great town to spend some time in so 2 stars for that. 

Nice park just off I-10 and near Pilot truck stop.  Used to be called Junction/North Llano but has been purchased by a new owner.  The propane license did not transfer to the new owners so no propane is available but there is a propane dealer nearby but not open on the weekends or evenings.  The campsite is nice and the staff are extremely friendly and lead you to your spot and standby to assist you if need be.   They have a fenced dog park but it’s not even a small yard size.  Easy access from I-10.  Pull thru and back in sites.  Cable TV and reliable WIFI.  Picnic tables and BBQ grill at most spots.  Big Rig friendly.

Very peaceful to be right off I-10. Some road noise, but expected. Arrived after hours and was greeted by host coming up to lead us to our spot. He held a flashlight while I hooked up. Fairly level gravel spaces, table, covered patio, grill. Older bath house but clean. Garbage pick up at camper. Walked dogs along river. 

New owners. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay. 

Great staff and quiet.  Felt safe.  Lots of renovation going on which is good.  I would recommend!

This was an easy to access park, right on the river. It was perfect for an overnight. We stayed in a 42 foot 5th wheel and we were able to stay hooked up. Very friendly staff. We would stay again!

Great camp with awesome staff. My family spent most of the day in the pool which was crystal clear and the facilities on site were very clean. Will definitely be going back!!

Sites were large and level, decent spacing and they had the short term and long term guests divided. No issues with hook ups and WiFi worked ok. The pool was in terrible, unsafe condition. All the tile along the edge was broken down to the concrete.  All my kids care about is the pool, so that was very disappointing. 

Wonderful campground on the banks of Llano River. Clean and friendly hosts. 

Easy check-in and friendly staff. Easy on/off the interstate. Interior roads and sites are gravel and red dirt.  Either decent spacing between sites or very close. The sites are not arranged in typical fashion but are angled in many different directions.  WII FI either worked or didn’t – it would just stop. Directv worked fine in our site. There are trees but none were in bloom when we were there. Verizon was 1x 3 bars so we could text and make calls. Have mixed feelings about this park – I think if they just tidied it up a bit it would be a nice park. It is on the river but not necessarily a pretty section of it. There are quite a few long term RVs that seem to be in one section. They looked neat enough though.  There was some traffic noise but it wasn’t too bad.  Not sure if we would stay here again or not.

Used to be a KOA, probably nice at one time but pretty run down now. The buildings and the pool look like they're crumbling. The bathrooms are clean but also in need of some tlc. The WiFi was ok. Free cable was a nice bonus. They were closed for a 3 hour lunch when we arrived and there wasn't any information on what to do, but the owner met us at the gate and was really nice and got us to a spot. Probably won't stay again, a bit pricey for what you get.

Stayed overnite....EAT AT THE PADDLED PATIO BAR AND GRILL!!!!!

Easy on and off I-10 with big rig friendly fuel options nearby. It is an old KOA, so would be cramped if busy, however it seems pretty underutilized. Staff was friendly though the "store" was underwhelming. Good o ernight spot but little to offer for an extended stay. It was quiet with reliable power and water. WiFi was ok. No Verizon signal, just FYI. We didn't use the pool or facilities, so no weight in the review for those. Some permanent residents, but nothing too creepy.

Called couple days ahead for a reservation.  Running late we called ahead and they gave me a spot, over the phone, and left a map on the office door.  Arrived late and their setup for us was great.  As you can tell, folks are very helpful and friendly. Nice, spacious, level gravel spots.  Nice spot along the river. Gladly stay again. 

Our second time to stop here. We had nice pull thru site which was flat, no leveling required. Staff friendly and helpful. Wifi strong & relatively fast. This is a convenient stop when travelling I10. We would stay here again.

Really liked this place.  The wifi was not even a wanted item so I don't care that it was in and out.  We were removed from the world and the place was well kept.  
My family enjoyed the smell of bbq the deer feedings and the lake!!

This is an old KOA that has been taken over by independent operators. The sites are decent sizes, albeit a bit unlevel, but all in all it is a very good place to stay. The pool, laundry and office are all well maintained and clean.
Staff is most helpful!

We stayed there in March on our way to Fredericksburg Tx and other places. We're glad we stopped as the RV park was quiet and peaceful and near the river. Staff were  very friendly and helpful. I needed a jump for my jeep and they responded very quickly. Great ribs sold in town. Would like to stay longer next time we are up this way.

Very friendly staff and nice facilities.  It's a good stopover on your way through West Texas.  Good wifi and cable.  Far enough from the highway so it was a quiet evening.

We came as a stop over for 1 night & stayed 2.  The staff was nice & helpful took you to your site helped with set up.  The sites are level with blocked patios with chairs.  Quiet & very restful park. Large p/t sites.  Showers were clean laundry & pool nice. We would come back.

We stayed one night here in Aug 16 and enjoyed it.  Large sites, nice shade trees, pet friendly and the pool was extremely refreshing after a hot Texas day.  The camp hosts were also extremely friendly and helpful.  They also had a great recommendation of Lum's for BBQ!

We are parked here for the night. We travel for work so specifically chose this park for the wifi advertised. Currently we're using up data because the wifi won't connect and cell service is bad. The park is clean and shady. There is a creek and pool. The staff was helpful and friendly. They pick up your garbage in the morning at your site. I would recommend this park as long as you don't need to use your computer or pull up a web page. 

Traveling through and decided to give it a try. Manager was very nice and we were escorted to our pull thru site. Cable TV and wifi work well. Near 1-10 and fuel stations and restaurants . Park is very clean and well maintained . Stayed here in an 36' fifth wheel  . Cost $36 per night but worth it..

Stopped off late nice and the manager met us at the gate without even calling ahead! They were beyond accommodating and the park is clean and quiet. One of the best places we've stayed!!!

We stop here whenever we travel from NM to the southeast. Easy to get to, clean and well kept. Friendly staff and helpful. Right next to the river where we swim out dog.

The park is super clean, the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to be sure customers are happy.  Restrooms dated but extremely clean.  Pool is awesome and really clean.  Prices are great and don't break the bank.

We stayed one night while traveling from New Mexico to Houston. After long day of driving this was a welcome stop. Very clean and lots of shade. Great place. 

Friendly staff and even escorted us to our site.  We were right along the river, with a nice level gravel site that had a nice patio.  We only stayed one nice, but I would stay again

Pros;  Great location from I-10, close but no highway noise.  Great staff made us at home.  Average space between rigs...all gravel sites.  

Cons;  Group style restroom that were hot...little air flow.  Tight showers stalls with broken fixture.  Need to 're-model restrooms completely.

Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived after hours but were soon met at the gated entrance. Then escorted to a beautiful spot under a large pecan tree.   Each well manicured lot has its own bbq grill and fire pit.  We really enjoyed our stay here in our motor home.
